Exposed brick walls, vaulted ceilings, wood-and-tile floors and steel surfaces sweep throughout, providing a downtown-loft feel to groove in. The state-of-the art sound system blasts everything from house and electronica to hip-hop, rock and goth music. Twenty-somethings dance and mingle on three levels and a rooftop patio that offers great views of the Mile High City. The ultra-modern basement lounge, Milk, hosts DJs and local jazz and blues bands.

This is one of the Best kept Secrets in town! The Shelter and Milk are two of my favorite places to be, especially on Friday & Saturday nights. I love their new International Music with the middle eastern beats on Saturdays at Milk. Too bad stupid people draw some sort of reference to a shooting that didn't even happen there! This place is one of the few where you can find a grown up, good-looking crowd. You haters can stay at Rise!

I was in Denver in Sept and had the priviledge of going to the club.I,and my friends had a great time.The music was great and the drinks were off the chain.As far as earlier comment made by those people who didn't know Darrent,and have NO respect for him or his family,don't know the details as to the why,"keep his name oucha mouth."It only takes an absolute idiot to say things you know NOTHING about!!!You obviosly weren't blessed with his smile and must be only jealous of those of us that did.So in retaliation,you make stupid remarks!!!Do you have nothing to do?You're the ones we see going home from the clubsALONE!!And now ya know WHY!!!
