hair color. been going there for a few years, but the quality of my hair slowly declined, even with those "healthy and organic" ingredients. then the whole layer on top of my hair broke off. Now I had to stop coloring my hair all together and let it all grow out.

WORST SPA in Denver and all surrounding areas. Very rude, snotty, and unwelcoming staff. These employees should not be working in a service industry. Didn't say one word to me when I walked in the door. 3 girls standing at the front desk and eyed me up and down when I walked in. I literally thought they were closed at 2pm in the afternoon on a Tuesday. Didn't even look me in the eye. I asked if there is anyone available for a haircut..answer was: "I guess we can help you at 6:30". Came back at 6:30..waited for the stylist. Went up to pay and stood at the front desk to try and pay...waited for about 3 minutes to pay....my mother was waiting for me in the waiting area and she is 58..I was told that "she has been breaking things". I was totally shocked and didn't understand what she was talking about. Figured out that my mom left a glass of water on the waiting room table and an employee walked by and it fell over! Totally shocked and was told next time to keep guests at home. I told the girl there will not be a next time. Absolutely shocked! I would have rather shaved my head than deal with these snotty and rude employees.

don't go to this salon. don't go to this salon if you want to feel good about yourself. Everyone at the desk was so rude. My stylist was late taking me, and she made it feel like my fault. i didn't feel like she cared about what i wanted. I do not recommend this place.

Wonderfully Relaxing. After a few years of not going to the Avalon Salon at Aspen Grove I have returned! I am so happy I decided to - the atmosphere is so relaxing and EVERYONE is extremely friendly! Mariah is wonderful - her hair coloring is better than anyone I have encounted in 15 years. Overall the experience at Avalon is wonderful and at a decent price...not cheap...but a top notch spa experience from the moment you walk in the door!

Great Aveda Salon. Great Service, great color and cut. Michaelyn is the best! I am reall happy with how my hair looks and feels.

Horrible hair. Terrible service! I went here to get pampered and spend some money on ME , and ended up with a horrible highlight job, the highlight was only 3 inches of my hair! and brassy. The receptionist had told me the stylist had time to cut my hair as well and when I asked her she said she was booked and could I come in next week! and hire a babysitter again? NO! She sloppily put foils in my hair and when she ran out of color she stopped rather then mixed more to finish my hair. When I went back to have it fixed the other girl used bleach and a light toner which rinsed out within a week leaving me with un natural blonde highlights not to mention my favorite sweatshirt ruined with color all over it. This salon obviously hires anyone despite their lack of training! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Great Spa. I was able spend an afternoon here and got treated wonderfully! I thought the spa was welcoming, and I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. Everyone I came in contact with was pleasant. :)

Wonderful. I drive from Arvada to go to this salon and everytime Im here I feel so welcomed! I have been to many salons and spas in my area and none compare to this salon and spa.The staff is incredible! I love the fact that there are signs letting me know about how to leave gratuity that way I not caught off gaurd when cheking out. I spend good money here and I always find a baby sitter for my children, so the fact that they do not allow children in the salon is wonderful. When I spend a day here I am getting away from children and I don't want to hear someone else's child during my services. I highly recommend this salon to anyone.

Very disappointed. As someone who frequents spas, I left Avalon Salon & Day Spa very disappointed and insulted. Spas are a place to feel welcome, be pampered and get catered to. With signs every two feet telling you what you are NOT welcome to do (children under the age of 12 are not welcome, you may not pay for tips using your credit/debit card, we are raising our prices and hope you will understand, etc), the very noisy atmosphere, and the extremely unhelpful and rude front desk clerk, I thought I was at Cost Cutters, not an Aveda Spa. With so many great spas in Denver, its a miracle that this one remains in business.

Best Spa in Denver. I have to admit I was shocked when I read one of the other reviews. I have had nothing but spectacular services everytime I have been there. It is a wonderfully relaxing place to have all of your spa and salon needs met.
