Waxing the City fomerly Wax in the City

NEVER AGAIN! I read amazing reviews for waxing the city and it was my first time getting an eyebrow wax from this place... So I was excited when one was five minutes away from me! I went to the bellemar one. The customer service at the front desk was awesome, but everything passed that was HORRIBLE!

I told her it was my first time there and tried talking to them, but it was like talking to a wall. I get it if some people don't like to talk while their working but this woman was like frankenstein and really awkward. Not only that, but the wax she did on my eyebrows was absolutely AWFUL! After she was done it looked like I didn't have any eyebrows left! I really wish I had taken a picture to prove how completely bad the job was. Both of my eyebrows weren't even the same shape anymore! And there was a HUGE gap between my eyebrows. I know that eyebrows should conform to the 'T' of your face, but holy cow! It was like my eyebrows started in the middle of my eyes!

I had to pencil in the front part of my eyebrows for a month at least, and haven't plucked them in months just so they'd grow back to what they used to be before!

I can't believe there are so many good reviews for this place on here! Or that I paid to have someone butcher my brows. Did I just catch them on a bad day or something???  View Less … View More

Not all brazillans are created equal. . .. I began getting brazillans back in September and am so glad I went to Waxing the City first. I have the service about every 4-6 weeks without fail. I have been to all 3 Denver locations and the staff has always been fabulous. I have had the service from all levels of technicians and have always had a great experience. I know that I can scehdule at any location with any technician and have a good experience.

Now those of you who have had brazillians know that they are not the most comfortable thing ever but I have learned to tollerate them. I like that the waxing professionals take their time and help you through the most painful parts.

I guess I never realized how good they were until I went to aother salon where Mary proceeded to complete my brazillian in 15 minutes and pulled skin with the hair in a couple of instances. It was so painful.

I love the feeling after a brazillan and am so glad I chose Waxing the City because if the pain I felt yesterday had been felt the first time, I never would have gone back.

I will be scheduling my next appointment at Waxing the City and will use them for all of my waxing needs.  View Less … View More

Best Brazilian Ever. Wow. Just had a brazilian with Liv at the Belmar location, she is amazing.First and foremost, the studio is spotless and their technique is sterile. The environment is very clean and they will NEVER double dip......you know what I mean. I have been a dedicated waxing the city client since they opened, I have always seen Jessie at the Lodo location. She is so talented and professional I have hesitated ever seeing anyone else. With a hectic schedule, I am only able to go to the lakewood location. I am soooo glad that I took the plunge and trusted Liv. She is fabulous. I love Jessie and if you are going to lodo she is definitely your girl, but if you are going to Lakewood Liv is who you want to see. Quick and as painless as a brazilian can be ;) . I have had great brazilians and I have had terrible ones. These girls are amazing! Thanks you guys for providing such excellent service and hiring such a competent staff.
