June 2012 If you are single and do not mind being ignored (b/c you're average Joe or Jane) or you don't mind having to wait an hour for microwave oven style food (or undercooked fish), and love beer specials- then this is the place for you.

We arrived after 6:30pm

Acknowledged by a server 20 mins later.

An hour later (with no refills) food arrived undercooked and burned.

Did we ask for a manager? No b/c it would've taken longer to fix the problem

and if you've seen the movie WAITING, nobody wants that.

Again, if you're single with friends and good looking, go for it- beers are good.

But if its a family occasion or you are Chef Ramsey, you're going to be very very disappointed.

I generally don't post reviews, especially if they are bad. However, this place left a lasting impression on me. A group of us when to this bar a few weeks ago (12 people). The service was slow and disorganized. When we asked for separate check, the waitress scowled and said "all of you want separate checks?" Now I waited tables for sixteen years. I know this makes things difficult, but if that is what the customers wants, then she should keep her emotions to herself. At that point she had us all on one check and the service was schizophrenic. Orders were missed, drinks were slow, some folks got food first, after just ordering, while others waited and waited, some had to order twice. Then, finally one person had their entire order forgotten. The general manager came over to address the problem since we were all done eating. She offered to comp his food, which was very nice. Then she asked if there was anything else she could get for him while he waited. He asked for a beer (not expecting to get a free beer). She cocked her head and said in a snide response, "I can't give alcohol away, I've comp'ed your food; I can't give you a free beer." She then brusquely walked away. He commented to the rest of us, he just wanted another beer, he didn't expect it to be free. He had to wait for the waitress to come back to get another beer. I think someone needs to look at the management at this place. I've learned over the years, if the staff are snotty or rude, chances are it is trickling down from management. We really liked the staff at the Arapahoe Road location. They were always glad to see us. It is a shame that one changed.

Double charging. My husband and I went to the Fox and the Hound in Lone Tree for a class reunion. They took my credit card to start a tab, told them I did not wish to pay with the card, that we would be paying cash. I was told not to worry they only authorize it. Come to find out they not only took our cash they charged my card 3 hours later with the exact amount of the bill. When I called the following Monday, the manager assured me it would be removed as it was a mistake on their part. A week later the charge had not been refunded and when I called back I was first told that is was my banks fault and after I explained that I had already spoken with my bank, he said that since he could not find the charge slip in the 400+ slips he had for that night ~ it never happened and that there was nothing he could do. Fortunately for me, my bank disputed the charge at not cost to me. I assume the waitress walked away with a pretty nice tip from us........

And to think we were all talking about going there for the first Bronco game to watch it...... NOT
