Great Golf Experience. If you want to have fun playing golf - you must play Fossil Trace. Awesome layout, challenging, character, nasty bunkers and some brutal greens but all adds up to great time on the course.

Not alot of room to miss a tee shot but IF you play smart and think about where to be and where you must NOT be - you can score. The problem is you are tempted all the way around to take the risky shot but why not? You didn't come out to "play" just to lay up did you? GO FOR IT and BTW, if you miss you make double or triple so bring balls - both kinds.

We had steaks after the round which were excellent and not just for a golf course restaurant. The food was very good, service was OK as they seemed a bit busy w/the wedding reception in the next room so the place was hopping w/tons of people.

The whole day and experience was fun - a nice change from the ho hum of most public courses. It seemed clear to us that FT cared about what they did - it showed.
