Have been here multiple times. The sushi is always amazing. Very fresh. Service is friendly.

Bad service, average food. We waited 15 minutes to order, 15 minutes for soup, and 15 minutes for sushi. We ordered the box lunch thinking it would be fast, but didn't get our lunch until we'd been there 45 minutes. I've never had sushi take that long. Terrible choice for lunch unless you have two hours. Plus the hostess wasn't very polite.

Best Sushi in Denver. Always wonderfully fresh, with consistant additions of creative and excellent special rolls. Service is extrmeley attentive and polite. Best Sushi in Denver without all the fuss in a pleasing and comfortable atmosphere. For sushi lovers with kids in tow, the kids plate with terriaki, gyoza and shrimp tempura is a real find.

Try IT!. I tried Bara Sushi for the first time, and was impressed. The special rolls were exceptional.

Bad. The service was so bad! We waited 20 minutes for our server, and almost an hour for our food. It wasn't even that busy! When I complained about the wait, all I got was was a shoulder shrug from the manager.

Best Sushi in Denver. I tried Bara intially because of it's mention in 5280 as one of the top five places to go on a date. It was everything as billed and better. I've recently graduated from college and have my first job. I have more money to burn but I'm also rather tight fisted. Couple that with the fact that despite my new income status I'm still treated like a no tipping college kid. At Bara this is not the case. They treated my girlfriend and I with respect the minute we reached the door. Service was prompt the water glass never ran low and the waiter was attentive enough that I never had to pour an ounce of wine myself. The sushi is first rate and a much better value than at the Den or Sonoda's.
