Worst Service.
The food is pretty good, but the service is TERRIBLE! I often go to Pat's since I work in the DTC, but I have had several bad experiences with a guy named "Sunshine" that works there. For a place that works on word of mouth, this guy isn't helping business one bit. Don't expect to get a warm smile and a helpful attitude if you visit this establishment.

Poor access off road, medicocre sandwiches, surly help.
This is cheesesteak? I drove all the way across down for this ho-hum, second-rate sandwich? What a waste. I used to eat killer South Philly hot cheesesteaks regularly in the Inland Empire in California that easily put this place to shame.
The Arapahoe Road location is horrible, squeezed as it is between the traffic congestion at the I-25 on-ramps and South Clinton. A simple driveway directly off the main drag would have helped tremendously in accessing the parking lot.
These other reviewers must be easily pleased. "Best in Denver" or "authentic" is relative. If the best tastes so-so, then I guess so-so is the "best in Denver." That certainly seems to be the case here. I certainly wouldn't go so far as to DIE for one of these mediocre sandwiches, served with a bad attitude in a worse location. I would suggest trying Caldonia's on South Parker if you're craving a little meat, a beer, and some great atmosphere and pleasant service.

Best Cheesesteak in Denver by far!.
This place has the best cheesesteak anywhere in Denver. I get the regular with lettuce, mayo and jalopenos. One you have one you will be there every week from then on. Service is really great also, very friendly.

best cheesteak around!.
I really have not had a better cheesesteak (and I have gone to Philly a few times).
Try a cheesesteak with onions, mushrooms, and jalapenos.....to die for (and your heart might agree).

Best Sandwich and Best Cheese Steak.
There are several good sandwich shops in and around Denver, but they just don't stack up to Pat's. Fresh Fast, and OHHHHHHH Yummy. And the Market Street Location has class and great food with a full bar...... Simply the best Cheese Steak to be had in Denver, and the large is great value meal for two. They also reheat great make a wonderful lunch for the next day.

Most Authentic Cheesesteaks & Hoagies.
Having lived in Philly for some time & my husband is originally from the Philly area, we both agree that Pat's offers BY FAR the most authentic cheesesteaks & hoagies in Denver. What people don't know here is that it's about the bread & his definitely measures up to the numerous steaks & hoagies we've had back east. I reccommend the Grilled Italian...my favorite!!! Of course I wish he'd bring back the sharp provolone but Denverites never caught in with this original Philly thing....too bad, you're all missing out!
