New ownership means higher prices and lower quality ingredients. Prior to the new owner taking over, Joons was amazing. The staff was awesome, the food was high quality and the place was always clean. The new owner or his family who run the place don't speak english. They don't smile or talk at all. The prices have jumped and the quality of the food has decreased. As you are going thru the line making your selections - look outside in the parking lot for a big white Lexus SUV. Think about that when you give him your credit card. They removed the great thawed steak that used to be served and replaced it with frozen steak chips. They did the same with the chicken. Probably a good business move since they take up more space in the "coffee cup" bowl you get to select your ingredients (see previous review). They removed the green onions which I used to love getting. The Teriyaki Sauce that they use now is thicker and much different than before as well. The place is not as clean as it used to be - rest your hands on the counter around the cooking station and you'll understand. I got a bowl recently where the chicken was not completely cooked. Be sure if you do decide to go, make sure everything is cooked long enough.

Eat before you go to Joon's. The Website clearly states "all you can eat" options for both lunch and dinner. However, when we arrived we were handed a bowl the size of a coffee mug and told- 'one trip only- there is no all you can eat'. We figured we would try it- mistake- way over priced ($20 for 2) and despite over loading the 'bowls' to capacity, the serving size was comparable to a bowl of cambell's soup, and that was after adding rice. Trying to speak with the owner- no english, go figure.

We left Hungry and felt jipped. I would NOT recommend wasting your time or money.

*I am a small person and dont usually eat a lot- but I still left hungry

Try it Scott. This place is the bomb. Cute staff as well. My favorite was the medium bowl it was awesome and that is all.
