Very Fine Dining
by meocyber at Citysearch
The owners have had long assoc. w/ Pierre Wolf, Colorado's finest gourmet restauranteur. We dined for our wedding anniversary. We began w/ the saganaki, killer brandy flamed cheese. Excellent bread, salad and lobster bisque in the meantime. My main was the also Gangster steak, 14 oz. 1 1/4 in. thick juicy tender ny strip. Easily, the best steak I've ever had. My wife had the chicken diablo, breast smothered w/ a cream chipotle and smoke chiles. Both our veggie sides were great. to perfectly cap off a special night we had complimentary creme brule and 2 ouzo shots. ommmpa, to their welcoming Greek style!
- Pros: primo food, primo service and primo surroundings
- Cons: zero

Food tends to be very expensive, for what you get - average food. Seating is cramped. Restrooms are inconenient and totally not wheel chair accessible. Owner is rude. Been there twice - never again. There are too many other good places to dine. Don't waste your money.
- Pros: Handy location for some people.
- Cons: Expensive for average food.

Recently I enjoyed my 60'th birthday at "Steakhouse 10". We were greeted warmly at the door by owners and staff. WOW! They made me feel like part of their family.
The restaurant is LIVELY. We sat near the fireplace. We started with a flaming cheese dish. It was delicious! For dinner, I had the BEST lamb chops in my life! My husband, Charles, ordered a tender New York pepper steak cooked to perfection (yummy and tender he informed me).
For my birthday, the restaurant comped us a very good creme brulee and a taste of ouzo (a real Greek delight).
Thank you "Steakhouse 10" staff for providing me with everything I could hope for on my birthday.
