It's like a Pristeige Private school compared to other daycares !. This place is well staffed and makes sure to play with my dog in the dogs own small "Ball Groups" multiple times every day so that all dogs that come here get the one on one interaction that they deserve at daycare. Their groomers do a great job and all the dogs are well loved and cared for. I've seen over 4 different daycares in the metro denver area and this one is by far my favorite. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else !
My dog - the happiest pooch since going to For Love of Dog!. This month was the 3rd Anniversary of our little rescue dog joining our family. She's a high-energy girl and needs a doggie day care! The first 1-1/2 years we sent her to a good facility however this facility did not separate the dogs by personality or size - so she was still a little crazy and fearful being with the large dogs. We switched to FOR LOVE OF DOG on the recommendation of many of our friends. (They do separate dogs by temperment and size) You know they do love your dog. My little girl has had a total personality change since going to For Love of Dog - she was always sweet, but now she has manners - yes really -- and she is one happy pooch! She loves playing with the little dogs and she loves the staff -- these guys are great. It's obvious to me that we made the right move when we brought her to the For Love of Dog family. Before there was always a fight getting her nails trimmed -- what am I talking about -- I couldn't even touch her feet or brush her. Now after the crew at For Love of Dog has groomed her and trimmed her nails and brushed her teeth -- she trusts them and us -- they are gently loving and caring. Taking our girl to For Love of Dog was one of the best decisions we have ever made -- I totally recommend this doggie day care - your dog will be happier for the experience.
Overcrowded daycare. If you want a daycare that is overloaded with dogs (hence, no cameras) then this is the place for you! Who cares if they give you pictures online! Install video cameras so we can see our pets play! The reason so many people are attracted to this place is because the staff is friendly and the colors on the wall are impeccable. If you're looking for your cheerished pup to be bombarded with a bunch of other dogs then this is the place for you - especially if you want just one or two people supervising. Ever notice how the owners are always up front and never in the back with the dogs??? This place easily allows over 90 dogs per day - no joke - they'll never tell you that and you'll never be able to see the MASS amount of dogs because again, no cameras (it's no coincidence folks). Imagine logging online, excited to see your pup playing, only to realize that he/she is stressed out because there's too many dogs. Just my thoughts.
Professional, friendly and SO caring!.
I have been to several doggie daycare facilities and grooming services over the years, and no one compares to the team at 'For the Love of Dog'. They went out of their way to help me today after I had unexpectedly acquired a rescue dog. He was in desperate need of grooming. Not only did they clear their schedules to make room for us, but they also talked to me about the specifics of caring for a rescue.
Their facilities were clean, smelled great, and they had enough staff on to take care of everyone needs without anyone waiting too long.
I can and will recommend 'For the Love of Dog' to all my fellow pet lovers!
Hot Dog! This is THE place. For those of us without kids, our dogs get to reap the benefits. Doggie daycare is not a new concept; however, what you get varies a lot here in Denver. I always tell friends to do some heavy-duty research before committing and to go to each facility, talk to the staff, take your dogs, and WATCH and LISTEN to what happens. I did just that and ended up at For The Love of Dog a few years ago (if anything, they get the award for the most clever name). My two pups love it there -- the play areas, both outside and inside, are not to be beat, but they especially like the people. And there are plenty of wonderful folks there who are well qualified to handle your dogs. Each dog -- and I mean EACH dog -- is special and is recognized as such. There are no cages, which is a relief since my guys are no longer crated. There's plenty of space for down-time and play-time where big and small dogs are separated. I am extremely pleased with how clean the place is, which is a huge item on my list. And the other amenities are terrific --- great varieties of organic dog food and treats, plenty of toys and other things that I run out of (hey, forget to get chew sticks at the market? They've got 'em). I really like that every few months, a well-qualified veterinary doctor comes in for bordatella and anesthesia-free dental cleaning, which my guys love (me too!). How about those huge tubs for baths? (do-it-yourself or let-them-do-it); this is especially wonderful given the snowstorms we've been getting. So, why take my dogs anywhere else? If I did, I'd hear about it since I am out-numbered. I surely don't want a doggie mutiny on my hands! Thanks to everyone at FTLoD -- so glad you are here.
Best for little dogs. I found this business on City Search and am very impressed. I had been looking for a long time for the right fit for my pom. Biggie loves it there and he is always separated from big dogs. I highly recommend for anyone with small dogs.
Best of City Search.
I found this place from your best of City Search this year. It's even better than you describe.
I have 2 Vislas and they require more energy than either myself or wife can offer. Our lives have changed since we started daycare and I highly recommend it to anyone with dogs.
Thank you City Search!. I had to add to this. I found this place from best of City Search and drove 10 miles to get there. There were others closer to me, but none that even came close to this place. It's much nicer than any pet place I have ever visited. They really know dogs at For the love of dog and I now go out of my way every monday, wednesday and friday to give my dog a treat. It is worth it. When I was searching for a place, I noticed there weren't many crate free facilities and I have to wonder why. I love the fact that my dog never has that experience and has all the fun he wants.
Super nice. I have been looking at facilities all week and I liked this one the best. I am a paranoid dog mom. It was clean, it was very upscale and I felt good about leaving mimi there. Thanks
User review by thegiree. This was the best daycare i could find, and I went to nearly all of them. Highly recommend it!
