NOT KID FRIENDLY. Are the other reviewers writing about the same place???!!!

First, the only flavors are chocolate, vanilla, and flavor of the day and then a few toppings that are basically just candy. Second, and most importantly, there is a truly grouchy, rude, child-hating man that works there. There is one nice, friendly man - he is the thinner of the two; the other, the heavier of the two, is very MEAN. I've never had him smile ONCE. I think he is in the wrong business if he doesn' t like kids. Ice cream is supposed to be fun. He actually told my child to "be quiet!" and pointed at him while saying it. My child was only excited to get ice cream with his friends because he is 4 YEARS OLD..... Go the extra mile and go to Pete's Ice Cream and Coffee another mile west down Colfax. I tried to give the Daily Scoop the benefit of the doubt and went a couple of times, but this guy is just too rude for me to patron this shop anymore.

Custard!. We take our family and friends here for a special treat. There is a "flavor of the day" and usually left overs from the day before. I haven't had anything that wasn't amazing.

I would go DAILY!. The Daily Scoop has it all.....great frozen custard, great location, but most of all, personal service. An easy walk from home in Congress Park, Moms, Dads, Kids and even dogs get the same home-made attention. The flavor choices are few, but the tempting "Flavor-of-the-day"s more than make up for it. Papaya is my favorite. A great place to go with you children, your significant other, or just your book, The Daily Scoop caters to all with old-fashioned customer service!

Yummy!. fBest ever! Couldn't believe how good this stuff is. Friendly little place that few are aware of yet. In my neighborhood of Congress Park.

Just like being in Milwaukee. The Daily Scoop serves the freshest and most delicious frozen custard this side of Milwaukee, WI. They serve chocolate and vanilla every day along with a special flavor of the day. The service is excellent and the neighborhood is wonderful. Stop by sometime and ice cream will no longer satisfy your sweet tooth.
