Husker Loves Camp Bow Wow Castle Rock. We took our puppy, Husker, to Camp Bow Wow in Castle Rock a little over a year ago for his first day of camp. We did so upon the recommendation of a coworker who said her dog loved it. Honestly, we thought she was exaggerating, but we needed a day camp regularly, so we tried it. Well, Husker absolutely LOVED his first day, and countless days since! He barrels through the door every time we go and can't wait to get back to the play area. All of the staff is so loving towards him, which comforts us since he does go regularly. We appreciate all of them so much and we can tell Husker does too. And, the groomer there is great. Husker has a lot of hair and she always gets him looking fabulous!

Camp Bow Wow - Great Doggy Daycare. We moved to Castle Rock last year and were wary of taking our jack russell to a new daycare. We are pretty cautious and want to ensure he is in good hands before we trust someone to care for him. So, we did our research by visiting numerous places (about 15 in all), which spanned from Denver to Colorado Springs, and asked many questions as we received a thorough tour of each place. We happily settled on Camp Bow Wow for many reasons, including staff that always includes a vet tech, cameras to check in at any time and see how your little one is doing (also you can monitor the staff), nice play areas both in and out. The staff really has a genuine love for the animals, and the receptionist Melanie is the best! She loves dogs but is also great with the customers! We know it’s always a good sign when our dog wants to go back to the play area from the moment we arrive and we don’t have to worry because we know he will be in good hands. My only wish would be to have an indoor play area with rubber mats –that would be better on the dogs’ joints since they currently have concrete floors. This might be because the rubber would be harder to sterilize, but I wish they had something that was not so hard on their joints.
