Great food, Jules is the bomb!.
Our waitress, Jules, was terrific. She gave excellent service and recommendations for the food. Very friendly, outgoing, and remembered all of our orders correctly without writing anything down. We will refer her to all of our Kansas City friends. The barbecue sauce was also muy bueno.

worst place in town. The worst place ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! save your money and go to wendys. Horrible bartenders who cares what they look like stop talking and serve some drinks! The place smells like sewage and it gets unbearable when they do the dishes, yuk who wants to smell a portapotty when they are having a drink.. who ever the new management is has made this place go from bad to worse. The staff has gone completely down hill. Were do they find these people. They are all rude and unfriendly. My wife was horrified by the reaction one gave when she asked for something. The food made my entire family sick to their stomachs. After waiting over 45min for dinner they got it all wrong and then when they tried to fix it it was cold!!!!!!!!!!!! who is running this kitchen. the chili tasted like raw flour the burritos were cold and the burgers tasted kind of old.. In the last six months this place has become a shithole. We will never go back i suggest you do the same

Good Pub...Best Bartender. Citypub is by far my favorite pub/bar to go to in Denver. The food there is great, especially the burgers, and they have a nice variety of microbrews, and domestic beers that never treat you wrong. They have a bartender named Jules that keeps bringing you back. Aside ffom being easy on the eyes, she makes a mean drink. I recommend anyone that is in the area of south Denver to make a trip to "the pub".

My favorite neighborhood bar.
I live less than a mile away, and go to CityPub South whenever I want a cold one and a friendly place to read the paper or watch a game.
Bartender Julia keeps me coming back, too. Jules keeps the bar running smoothly and is a charming person.

Nothing special, ordinally burger.. They are known for its best burgers in town, so I decided to try. I ordered a buffalo burger which was okay but nothing special. It is nice that they have the choices of beef or buffalo since I don't eat beef, but all in all, the burger was not the best in town. It was not bad, but I definitely do not think they have the best one in town. I went there during luch hour in weekends and the place was very quiet and slow. The service was not particularly great either. They charged the wrong amount on my credit card. After reviewing my bank statement, it made me think that they changed the amount of tips on my receipt after I signed. I will never go back to this place.

CityPub. People who are writing these reviews that attack the staff have problems. The people are trying to make a living just like everyone else.I go to this bar alot and I Have never seen a Hollywood type THERE. Get a life to people who attack people they do not know!

Awesome Food!. I was a little skeptical about going here after reading some of the reviews. However, it is right down the road from me and I always love a good cheeseburger. My family was in town and I decided to take them there. I will admit, there is a stale smoke smell in the air but it's really not that bad. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a good old hole in the wall bar, dark wood floors, stuffed buffalo head, etc. It was a Monday night and the place wasn't that busy. We seated ourselves and the server came right over and was quick with getting drinks and taking our orders. The food did not take long and my burger was cooked just how I asked. The fries were good, kind of like McDonald's, the salads were also good and made with leaf lettuce (not the nutrient deficient iceburg lettuce). But really I would say just come for a beer and a great burger! You will leave satisfied.

Terrrrrible service. I've never gone to any bar, club or restaurant that raises prices faster then this dump! The staff is without doubt the laziest, snoddiest bunch of betches I've ever witnessed working in public. The drinks are over-priced and weak and the food is marginal at best. Don't waste your money. Don't waste your time. Don't go there!
