Luciano's turned out to be a rather ordinary pizza joint. The food held it's own but nothing screamed out, "This is the best *anything* I've ever had!" The pizza was good, but a little bit too thick for my tastes. True NY-style lovers, I'd advise to try somewhere else. If you like a thicker, more chewy crust, then this joint might be perfect for you. Also had the hot buffalo wings. I can't say anything bad about them. The wings had a good amount of meat on them, sauce was buffalo sauce, and bleu cheese dressing is pretty standard most anywhere in the Mile High City. They weren't rediculously priced either so I felt like I got what I paid for and the wings would be worth eating again. The only big downsides were the wait and music selection. I went in during the middle of the week and I was one of two patrons in the restaurant. The other guy already had his food. My food took a bit longer than I was expecting to wait. Just shy of 30 mins for a pizza at a slow service time. That's pretty unacceptable. Also, the music blasting on the radio was a bit obnoxious. Rap and hard rock music certainly don't bother me in a private setting, but for a restaurant, it's a bit offensive hearing cussing-laced lyrics blasting on the speakers. It certainly isn't a family-friendly setting but for a guys night, there were some large flat screens to watch your favorite sports on.

I have read the other reviews and I am confused as to how anyone could say those things. Luciano's is one of our favourite places to eat in Denver. The pizza is good, the wings are amazing and their subs are great too! They use many fresh ingredients and the taste proves it. They recently started selling their wing sauce (mild, medium and hot) at the store so if you try the wings, you might want to pick up a bottle on the way home. They also have beer both on tap and by the bottle. Any other Canadians out there might be surprised to see Labbatt Blue beer available while watching hockey on one of the two big screen televisions. The staff has been nothing but great! The one time we had problem with delivery, we received a free pizza on two different occasions to make it up to us. They are even working with us to make a healthy version of a pizza that suits a diabetic and someone with salt issues. This place is awesome and I would highly recommend it to everyone (and no, I don't work there)! :)
Pros: Great tasting food, friendly staff, open late on weekends.
