Don't waste your money and time

This will be the last time I will order food from luciano's. I live right around the corner and so it is convenient for me, so I have ordered about a half dozen times. The first time I tried the pizza and thought it was nasty, it was doughy, the sauce comes from big cans behind the counter and taste like paste and the cheese has no flavor. The next time I tried the wings because I heard good things. I was impressed the first time but since then things have slipped. Recently I went there and the wings where so overcooked they were rubbery, tough and the sauce was salty and generic. So I gave them another chance thinking it was just an off night. But this time the wings were undercooked and raw, not safe to eat. After this I thought it was time to say something I told the manager about the undercooked wings and was told there was nothing wrong with them. I was afraid to get a new order based on the demeanor of the manager and didn't want my food "messed with". I am stoked that new pizza places are opening up in the neighborhood, so I will not be eating here again. I don't know how a place like this started well but slipped so bad, I don't think it will last long. This review will hopefully help someone from wasting there hard earned money and time on terrible food and service.

Lucianos - DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

A fellow employee and I went to Luciano's Pizza and Wings (on Broadway across from Sports Authority) during our brief lunch period on a Saturday. I ordered 1 slice of cheese pizza, and paid for it. Next, My friend ordered 2 slices, one pepperoni, one sausage, a small salad, and a drink, then paid. (one of their "value meals(almost 8 dollars!!") Next, the cashier, after handling our money, went DIRECTLY from the handling the money to the salad prep area- and throws random amounts of each ingredient into a STYROFOAM container with his bare, UNWASHED hands!

At the same time - I am still waiting for my ONE SLICE! (we are the only people in the place who are ordering!) Also, there were at least 4 people working in this small area, so WHY would the cashier make the salad? So my friend asked the cashier why he didn't wash his hands....his response... we always wash our hands....WE WATCHED HIM DO IT! And the funny thing is that right next to his salad prep area was a big box of diposable gloves!!

Meanwhile...

I could see my slice of pizza sitting under a heat lamp directly next to the cashier. So I asked the cashier what was going on with my slice...He finally grabbed it out of the heat lamp, and gave it to me.(Pizza was burnt, dry, and bland!) I really didn't expect much more at this point.

So..... my friend returned his salad, and they gave him a refund.... but get this!! MINUS A CHARGE FOR THE RANCH DRESSING THAT CAME WITH IT!?!

So he gets his one slice..... and waited for 5 minutes before asking about his slice of sausage pizza. The cashier says that they just put it in the oven and that it would be another 7-8 minutes. We had to leave due to time constraints, so my friend got ripped off pretty bad.

At this point, I asked another employee there who the manager was.

Employee: I am.

Me: Well, who is the owner, then?

Employee: I am.

Me: You are the owner?

Employee: Well.... no - my father is.

I had to drag the answer out of this guy.

Finally he gave me his dad's card... I called his dad(the owner) and complained about our experience. He said he would check it out and call me back.....Guess what? No call back.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TIME ON THIS PLACE! There are plenty of much better pizza places in the city..Do yourself a favor!

best i have has in a long time

since moving to denver i have found this place to be the best. every weekend i order from there while at work. there subs are fantastic and the pizza is awsome. the people who write the bad reveiws do not even eat there. they must get off at writing bogus reviews on good places. get a life. i would say definetly try this place.
