If you're looking to Walmart's equivalent in the world of Yoga, this is it. They've ripped out the soul of yoga and replaced it with shallow junk and plastic instructors all while driving smaller studios out of business (or acquiring them and changing their class offering to 95% Core Power aka yoga for Cheerleaders). I was actually searching for more information on a "real" yoga studio and, surprise, surprise. Corepower has bought advertising on Citysearch so their big, offensive logo showed up right underneath the info. I wanted. Yep, Corepower is the exact opposite of everything yoga stands for. Do yourself a favor and go to ANY other yoga studio in town. Support the "little guys" or someday soon Corepower may be the only (terrible) option. And, one more thing. Why is it that Corepower has 2 reviews, both giving it one star and yet its overall ranking is 4 1/2 stars? Interesting.

Ego trippn' galore! Some of the teachers are good but most are very inexperienced. After talking with a few instructors, I learned a bit about the company's business model and it is very apparent that Corepower is in the business for the money, not for the yoga. They are opening as many studios in as many states as possible, and most of the instructors come from the Corepower teacher training class which is only 200 hours long. (A few of the instructors said that they have been shorted pay from the managment as they are paid on a per class basis!) They cram as many people in the studio as possible and during the evening classes I was literally 1 inch away from someone else's mat in all directions. Also, during the summer they fail to adjust the thermostat in the studios. The temperature was too much as a handful of students walked out of the room nearly fainting.
Pros: Sweating and stretching amongst the beautiful people of Denver
Cons: Class size is not limited so you may be mat to mat (especiall in the evening)
