Editorial Review for Upper Crust – by Citysearch Editors

In Short
During lunch, business diners from nearby offices fill this small, lower-level deli's indoor tables and patio seating. They nosh on gourmet paninis, including The Gobbler: roasted turkey breast, fontina cheese and smoked bacon slathered with sweet apple butter. When the deli closes after lunch, the neighboring Bacchus Wine Bar opens its doors. Inside, seating for about 50 people is available at the glass-topped tables and bar. Soft jazz and candles create a romantic atmosphere.

User Reviews for Upper Crust

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

I have been a patron of the Upper Crust for almost two years now. The staff knows me by name and is always creating something new to try. I can't get enogh of the sweet potato fries. The sandwiches are always exciting and fresh. This is not the fastest deli as most of the sandwiches are hot, but trust me it is worth the wait. My business also uses the Upper Crusts catering services we love to have their food delivered to the office. Give these guys a try!

Pros: People food

Cons: this deli needs to be larger

What is this place a deli, bar or what? This deli is average at best, for acclaimed chefs these guys haven't created anything special. My food was extremely average, the bread was old and lettuce was bad. I was not impressed and will never be back. The service was slow and unattentive, 10 minutes for a sandwich and I was the only customer.

Pros: Never returning

Cons: Slow Service, Bad Food, Dirty
