I love this Place. I have been a patron of the Upper Crust for almost two years now. The staff knows me by name and is always creating something new to try. I can't get enogh of the sweet potato fries. The sandwiches are always exciting and fresh. This is not the fastest deli as most of the sandwiches are hot, but trust me it is worth the wait. My business also uses the Upper Crusts catering services we love to have their food delivered to the office. Give these guys a try!
Not the best!. What is this place a deli, bar or what? This deli is average at best, for acclaimed chefs these guys haven't created anything special. My food was extremely average, the bread was old and lettuce was bad. I was not impressed and will never be back. The service was slow and unattentive, 10 minutes for a sandwich and I was the only customer.
Great casual lunch in Cherry Creek. Have not been to the wine bar side yet, but the deli side is great. Popped in during the Cherry Creek Art Fair and had a delicious lunch. Quick service, ample portions and reasonable prices for Cherry Creek. Worst part was trying to decide which sandwich/panini to order...guess we'll just have to go back!
Yum!!. Just what Cherry Creek needed; an unpretentious but fantastically delicious and creative eatery. Casual for lunch, upscale for dinner, but equal quality of food and presentation for both. I've eaten both meals here and honestly can't recommend one time of day over the other. The sandwiches are great (my husband said 'best Po' Boy outside of New Orleans), the fries are to die for and the dinners are mouthwatering. I am NOT a chicken fried steak person, but we ordered it last time (we always share at places like this) and it was out of this world. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable if not always speedy. Go and enjoy!
Bacchus Wine Bar.
We've eaten here twice and think this is one of the best places in Denver. The ambience is nice, though it's not a 'wow" like The Manor House or Highlands Garden Cafe or Bistro Vendome, etc. It's the food that shines. We had one of our best meals ever. My husband had the steak with sweet potato frites (french fries) that were dipped in a vinegar-sugar bath. I had pork tenderloin that was moist and tender and came with carmelized apples and gorgonzola potatoes. We will go back again and again.

Cherry Creek eatery offers dual concept of upscale deli by day and wine bar by night..
In Short
During lunch, business diners from nearby offices fill this small, lower-level deli's indoor tables and patio seating. They nosh on gourmet paninis, including The Gobbler: roasted turkey breast, fontina cheese and smoked bacon slathered with sweet apple butter. When the deli closes after lunch, the neighboring Bacchus Wine Bar opens its doors. Inside, seating for about 50 people is available at the glass-topped tables and bar. Soft jazz and candles create a romantic atmosphere.
Once is enough!!!!!. I have never wriiten a review, but had such a horrible experience, I feel compelled to respond. I went to Uppercrust based on the reviews from city search, which seemed a bit over the top as far as praising uppercrust. Needless to say the food was average, that's a huge compliment!, the service was none existant, and the atmosphere was totally sterile. I also peeked into there new wine bar, it looks like a Z gallery showroom, and has absolutely no character. What a great dual concept, deli & wine bar, it must be a new trend that I have not heard of yet. Anyway, if the wine bar is anything like the deli, I would steer clear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best Sandwich in Denver. The Upper Crust has taken sandwiches to a gourmet level. The extensive menu shows true appreciation for food and flavor combinations. The menu is well thought out and the owners and staff make you feel like neighbors. Be sure to check out Upper Crust and the soon coming Bacchus Wine Bar next door. Much praise for Upper Crust.
User review by erinwhitford. The Upper Crust is a gourmet deli at its finest. The signature panini sandwiches are amazing. The "Gobbler" is my first choice. The combination of flavors and textures is very pleasing, and the apple butter is a condiment lover's dream. I have never had a better Sunday afternoon ritual. Check out the patio and the ice cream sandwiches!!
Just What Cherry Creek Needs. The sandwiches here are amazing. I have tried most of them now and can't find one I don't like. These guys make the best soup I have ever had. Sandwiches take a few minutes but trust me they are worth it. My wife loves their salads and I have to admit they look great. Beautiful patio very relaxing place for lunch. Don't be scared by the line it move fast.
