Located in the beautiful Historic Merritt House mansion, this three story 10 bedroom/10 bath home takes the word spa to a new level. Each spacious room has its own personal characteristics which have been converted into individual massage and facial treatment rooms. Separate men's and ladies lounges make everyone feel comfortable. Since the Woodhouse is centrally located near downtown, at The Woodhouse Day Spa, they say it's the "destination" rather than "the journey."
With over 70 ways to indulge yourself, try a 1 1/2 hour Volcanic Stone massage or an exclusive Minkyti facial or 2 hour Egyptian pedicure. The Woodhouse Day Spa-Denver has something for everyone.

I was expecting excellent customer service, a tranquil and relaxing environment to indulge in the top of the line pedicure. Instead it was noisy the entire time. There were loud discussions between staff and people checking in. I even had an employee bissell the carpet while I tried to quietly relax! The pedicure service was okay but definately not worth $90! You can get an awesome pedicure at Julia's in Cherry Creek for $39. I'll never go back. What a joke!

This is a historic home just off the beaten path in downtown Denver. It feels like ytour in your grandmothers home however it is beautifully restored and maintained. The staff make you feel comfortable and relax you from the minute you walk in the door. The service is specific to your needs and professional all the way. Nice find in Denver.

I had a massage at the Woodhouse about a year ago and really enjoyed it. When it was time to buy a gift for a pregnant friend, I decided to stretch my budget to get her a gift certificate for the pea-in-the-pod massage at the Woodhouse, thinking it would be nothing short of excellent and relaxing. After my friend had the massage, she told me about her experience: She had to ask for a clean pillow because the one they gave her had some yellow gunk on it. They didn't have pregnancy beds with the hole in the middle! Her massage took place while she was laying on her sides- how is that comfortable? How is that going to help my very pregnant friend relax and get a good back rub? I have never heard of a prenatal massage with no belly table, and neither had my friend. She had even gone to some other less expensive places throughout her pregnancy and ALWAYS had a belly table. I called and spoke with the spa manager, who's attitude was pretty much "tough, it's the way we do it here." I won't be spending more money at the Woodhouse. I would think in this economy spas would be trying to keep their customers, but I guess the Woodhouse doesn't see it that way.
