haircut. The grand is a very pleasant place it self and modern . As far as my haircut went it wasn't bad but not that great either . I have very thick hair so every time I get a hair cut everyone tends to thin it out instead of giving me a good hair cut . I dont know if I would go back depends on the person cutting my hair . I dont rememeber the girl who cut my hair she was very young and blonde nice but not very experienced with cutting hair . I need a better hair stylist . View Less …
LOVE Grand Salon. I moved here 3 years ago and tried all the top-rated salons, trying to find someone to give me cut/highlight/slowlights that I love...not just like....LOVE. I finally found her at Grand Salon--JESSICA G, you are wonderful. I love my color--I get compliments all the time. IT is very natural looking and the cut is perfect everytime! I am so happy to finally have a stylists who knows what she is doing and does it great. Yes, parking is somewhat of a pain, but the folks at Grand run out to your meter and fill it up with change again so you don't have to worry about a ticket. So so happy with Jessica! View Less …
DO NOT USE REBECCA. I got the worst haircut and she charged me $70. I told her not to use a razor, so she gave me a million split ends with a scissor that she used as a razor. One side is a lot longer than the other. She is terrible. I had to go somewhere else to have it fixed. I will never go there again. View Less …
Great vibe, right downtown. I have been to Grand several times now and LOVE the front house staff, they are super gracious and welcoming and always offer the standard cup of coffee, etc. I needed to get a brow wax and was able to quickly book it on Smedule for Grand Salon. April did the brow wax and not only did it look great, I didn't get any redness or puffiness, could go right out later that night. I look forward to returning to have April do my hair! View Less …
Not sure. I had been going to my same hairstylist for 5 years, but this last haircut was the last straw and I wanted to go someplace else, where the stylist would actually listen to me and would seem interested in my hair! I found Grand by recommendation of a person who's haircut I admired. It is pretty rare in Denver to see someone with good hair, so I decided to give Grand a try. Nothing bad happened- my stylist was sweet and I got the color I wanted. The price is also reasonable. At the same time, there wasn't really an exciting vibe and I didn't feel like a rock star when I left. It just seemed so...quiet and sort of low-key. I think the main thing I am uncomfortable with is that I am deep down an Aveda person. The products they use at Grand are filled with chemicals and additives. I'm sure that goes for the color, too. I'm not sure whether I'll go back to Grand or not. I'm just not convinced that it's anything truly above average. UPDATE: I never went back. I've found a new hairstylist, out of state, who I love. But I will say this: not only was Grand sort of boring, but the haircut I received was apparently uneven in the back. UGH! View Less …
