Delicious, No Frills, Thai Food.
I agree with all of the previous reviews. This is a quaint, no frills, family owned Thai restaurant that offers great food at affordable prices. The menu offers a wide variety of choices and the food is flavorful. I enjoyed the spring rolls and the "Bum" combination noodle bowl. It reminded me of the bowls at Ann's Lemongrass Grill, but more authentic. I'm excited to go back and try the Pho. The location isn't the most attractive/appealing but if you can get past this, it's a perfect fix for those Thai food cravings.
Pros: quick, delicious, inexpensive
Cons: decor, location
Fresh, friendly and affordable. I just stopped in for lunch and I have to say, I am really impressed. The owner, Le, is exceptionally welcoming. The menu is expansive, the food itself is fresh and nicely seasoned and the portions are plentiful. Basically, it's a humble little shop in the middle of a Mexican strip mall but prepare to be pleasantly surprised if your expectations are low... I do not eat much Vietnamese food but will definitely start now! As an aside, happy hour is from 5-7 p.m. and carries some Asian beers, including Tiger and TsingTao.
Good food, good prices, good service. This restaurant is in our neighborhood and we like to do business in our neighborhood. :) We went today as a staff to celebrate a birthday among us and we were very happy with the service and food we received. It was quiet, cozy and delicious. The soup before the meal was very tasty. We found out, too, that they will deliver free within a 3 mile radius, so we will be ordering from them, for sure, for our occasional business lunches. Really a good restaurant to have in our neighborhood!
Best Vietnamese Food in Denver. This restaurant is one of my favorite places. Everything has it's own unique taste. my favorite is the Pho it is a rice noodle soup that is not only inexpensive but it makes you full like you just finished a grand thanksgiving meal. Every single dish i have tried makes me crave for more. it has all sorts of different taste when you are not in the mood for rice then you can eat noodles but there are also many sorts of noodles. there are many more that i love like lo mein, noodle bowl, chao fun, eggrolls, and fried rice but i won't tell you what it taste like because you have to try it out yourself! Enjoy!
Great Vietnamese staples; fresh food. Thai Bao uses fresh ingredients. The bun (noodle) bowls are exceptional, and the spring rolls are as good as you can find. I have not eaten some of the more exotic dishes like fishballs and goat, but I can speak for the more mainstream orders, and they are great! The pho is very good, though I prefer more meatballs, so ask for "extra." The wine selection is nil, but hey have the standard American and Japanese beers. I eat here once or twice a week and I find myself craving it every day.
