In Short
White leather and celery suede furnishings fill the spacious dining area, set against a backdrop of exposed brick and rich dark-wood floors. Crowds settle in at the comfortable bar for martinis, appetizers and even meals. Choose from grilled ahi on a bed of greens, rosemary chicken or short rib osso buco with polenta. Accent your meal with a wild-mushroom gourmet pizza, crisp calamari, beef carpaccio or risotto with seared scallops.

I first went here for 5280 week two years ago and now go often. The food is excellent, one of the best chicken parm dishes I've ever had, and the atmosphere is trendy. Good wine list. Fun part of town.
Pros: All of the food I've had there is great especially the chicken parm
Cons: Can be a bit noisy and tables are fairly close together

We went to North on a weekday night and didn't have to wait for a table since it was still early. This place gets really packed though, even on weekday nights by 7 pm or so. Very nice for people watching, the decor is hip and fun, the music is pleasant and not overly loud. The service could have been better - the waiter just didn't really seem interested in us since we weren't ordering expensive drinks, even though we spent a significant amount on dinner itself. The prices are a bit high, and the food could be better. Their fish, however, is excellent. The appetizers/salads could be improved. The bread was dry. The presentation of the food is nice, but we were overall unimpressed with the rest. This is more of a dress up/drinks kind of place and it would be great for that, especially sitting out on the patio in the summer. The location is great but parking is difficult. The restaurant offers valet parking.
Pros: Great atmosphere, good bar scene
Cons: Food is average, parking hard to find
