One of my friends recommended that I go to Massage Envy and see Charles. I did an hour and a half appointment and left feeling like a brand new person and my migraine was gone! I will be back to see Charles again in the future. For anyone looking for a great massage for an affordable price I would say this is the place to go!
I was lucky enough to receive a gift card to Massage Envy and went ahead and booked my appointment here. I was skeptical about the whole thing considering I've heard this and that about the company. Anyways, needless to say I was very satisfied with my massage, if you go here you gotta try Katie she's fabulous! I had this burning sensation in my shoulder for weeks and she helped relieve it almost immediately! I also set up a membership while I was there (this is the only thing that will make me come in) which the front desk staff was very helpful in explaining! I'm sure I'll be using this one far more than my gym membership :-) Unforgettable experience... can't wait for my next one!
I received a gift card for my birthday and I wasn't real excited about going after looking at the reviews in the past years. Boy was I surprised. Not only did a receive a great massage from Brian, but the front desk was so helpful and friendly. Brian really did a great job of working out the knots that I had in my back. All of the knots aren't gone, but my back feels much better. I get stressed at work and build up the tension in my back and Brian helped to melt away a lot of it. I am signed up for the monthly massage program and am excited to be able to afford a monthly massage. I recommend Massage Envy to everyone now.
Very unprofessional management here.
Employees are literally a commodity. Those in management couldn't care less about their employees' needs. If you're seeking employment run far away! You can do better than this place. And what's worse, there is a plethora of grade school policies and rules you need to adhere to, like needing a doctor's note to call in sick, having to attend (very unprofessional) mandatory meetings to discuss professionalism and policies that anyone with common sense would know, so that those who are the real problem don't feel singled out. i.e., "everything has to be fair..."
All in all, Massage Envy here is the Wal-Mart of massage clinics.
Worst service EVER. I cant believe I paid for this massage, worst time of my life. the girl literally told me to shut up during the massage. I ended up talking to the owner Roy and he said I cant prove anything. I cant believe this owner has no freaking balls to stand up to a bad employee. Bad owner = bad employees
Horrendous Customer Service. So incredibly sad. I have been purchasing yearly memberships for my mother for 5 years. After 5 years as a customer, they treated her with the utmost disrespect. She missed one appointment (in 5 years) due to illness, they insisted that she be charged a full appointment and when she asked for a manager - the manager just said "read your contract". I've never experienced customer service so incredibly bad. A 5 year, good customer will NEVER be back. So sad.
angry teenage receptionists refused service. I called and asked what time they were opened til and they said 6pm. I showed up at 5pm and 2 young snooty teenage girls looked at me like I was intruding upon their nap and rudely told me that nobody was their to give a massage. I asked them when someone would be available and they told me maybe in a couple of weeks. They obviously just wanted to leave and were angry that I was a late customer.
Never again. No perks no frills no fun. I actually had to walk out because my therapist didn't listen to me about the kind of pressure I liked and made me yell out loud when she found an overly sensitive spot on my lower back. I was miserable when I left.
Do not get a membership. Be cautious of the membership. They lock you into a deal and then if you are unhappy with the service they only give you a month to use up the massages you accrue. Poor customer service when you try to cancel your membership. If you change creditors, or effect any change involving the auto payment on your card without a written letter to the company... you will receive a letter in the mail threatening to report you to a collection agency.
Ok but not great. I know someone that previously worked for one of these places and the therapists don't make all that much money at any of them. So of course you are going to get a sub quality massage at a sub quality price.
