Buyer beware!. Buyer beware this is not a reputable business!

Prices on website are not accurate and advertised website prices aren't honored. When I purchased minutes they made of big deal about how they NEVER expire - but when I went to use them today I was informed that they HAD expired.

When tanning once I asked for 8 minutes since I was just starting - they set the timer for 20 minutes.

too much sun?. i was recently shopping around for a new salon and after seeing them here on cityshearch i went to their website where it stated "first tan is always free to new customers". i went on a saturday when they werent very busy and talked to the gal, mentioned that i was shopping around and wanted to try out a bed, she charged me $7. When I asked about the statement on the website she had no idea what I was referring to and I even brought up the site on my blackberry and she didnt recognize the site (even thought the phone number matched what was posted on the door) and stated that they only special she knew anything about was a bogo and that was all she could offer anyone. The information on the site about the beds that were available was also wrong, it stated 5 regular beds and the gal at the store said only 3, which isnt a big deal in itself except to indicate longer wait times. I did have to wait about 10 minutes for a bed and never saw anyone leave before she told me to go on back. Mind you the very first thing I said to her was "Hi, I am out shopping for a new tanning salon and wanted to see how yours rates". Not very well in my book, they have been located in the same location, but I think (cant swear by it) they have changed ownership though.

I did attempt to rememdy the situation by email the contact us link on the website and have not heard back from anyone in response, this tan was about 3 weeks ago i think, i cant swear by that either.

WIsh I had a better experience I could write about!

TERRIBLE SERVICE AND A BIG RIP OFF!!!!. The girl there, didn't not explain the packages right, i got confused and accidentally signed up for a year tanning when really i just wanted a month, when i thought about it and figured out what i was doing, i told the girl i'm sorry i was confused, i don't want a year membership just a month. She was rude about it. That was in the summer some time, now its December and i just figured out that place has been charging me EVERY MONTH for a year membership. Do not go there, rude girls and not honest girls.

The Best Tanning Experience in Aurora.... Best Customer Service...Best Bulbs... Very Friendly !!. Wow....this place has great customer service...really nice people to help out with all your tanning needs.

I am new to Aurora so I went around to all the tanning places in Aurora. I was surprised by some who have the big names. The Beach Tanning Salon was very clean..not just clean..very clean. Clean makes a difference.

I explained to the staff my tanning needs and they provided comprehensive information so I could understand.

Watch out... I am an expert tanner and their bulbs are the hottest I have experienced. I guess the owner even changes them before they are ready to be changed.

What a great relaxing...refreshing place to be.

Know who your talking negative about. First off make sure you are talking about the right place before you make a negative remark. I own The Beach Tanning Salon that has been in the same location for over 20 years. I do not know who you are talking about but our company name is THE BEACH TANNING SALON has has been for over 20 years. I would hope you would revise your statement to be noted that you are speaking of the wrong place.

Life is a Beach: and so is the owner!. Formerly Bronzeworks, I use to go there often before they changed owners. I tanned and when I decided to stop tanning, I started with the spray tanning which was very effective in ONE spray.

We enter THE BEACH to have a spray tan. My friend starts talking to the employee when the owner interjects. He wants to know why we just want one spray tan....that one spray will not show any results, that we should buy a package etc...."It usually takes 3-4 times to see results, he states."

By this time I am confused. I have done this numerous times....at the same location when it was bronze works, and at other places. In fact one time, coming out of bronze works I sprayed ONCE and my bone white skin became instantly DEEP BROWN! The manager at the time, said that the sprayer must be turned up too high, so it must needed to be adjustable....(the sprayer is adjustable people).

So I start thinking, how could one come out with NO results....unless the sprayer is turned down so that people have to come back multiple times to get the results of one spray.

I explain to the owner who is very aggressively trying to tell me how wrong I am, states "I will take your twenty dollars, but you won't get any results." How nice of him to save me some money!

I turn to my friend and politely say " lets go over to Darque Tan, I was there a few weeks ago and came out dark in one spray."

The owner flies into a frenzy, screaming "Take your money and get out, and something about how Darque tan was no good."

I leave casually with a small finger of a gesture of how rudely I have been treated and hustled.

Almost, to my car the crazed owner flies out of the door to screa, "Maybe you should lose some weight before you tan."

Little does he know that I have a few extra pounds due to having my thyroid radiated due to a tumor! . Boycott terrible businesses & people!
