Horrible, Awful Service. I am not one to write reviews. But I will write reviews if a place is really, really good, or really, really bad. Noodles on the 16th Street Mall is really, really bad. I stood in line for 20 minutes during the lunch hour and they only had ONE register open the whole time. When I mentioned to one of the girls that worked there that I didn't appreciate waiting in line, she was very rude and snippy with me. If you don't mind wasting your lunch hour and being treated like crap, this is the place for you. But I am never going back.
This "swift-serve" restaurant has offered crowd-pleasing, comforting carbs from around the world since 1995..
In Short
With hard-surfaced walls, ceilings and floors and a steady stream of diners, the noise level can get high but it still has a family-friendly feel and a few options for kids. The menu is dedicated to all-things-pasta featuring Japanese pan noodles, pesto linguine and spicy peanut salad. Patrons can order at the counter for take out or have their noodles served to them in a white porcelain bowl.
Great mac and cheese. Noodles has great macaroni and cheese. I've had it plain, with hot sauce added, with tofu added, and in varying combinations. This location does get crowded early--good luck with seating if you don't arrive early. Best thing to do is figure out what you want, tell your friend and give them your money, and stake out a table while you wait for your friend to place your order.
Horrible service. I love the food at Noodles, always have, but the service at the 16th Street location was so horrible I will never go back. This Noodles is very crowded because of its location on the mall and the other day I was asked to leave by the manager so others could have my table. The thing is, we were not even in the restaurant for more than 25 mins and were litterally taking our last bite when he rushed over and VERY rudely said "are you done? because I need your table so will you leave NOW" I understand wanting to accomadate all clients but it wasn't as if we were sitting there gabbing away for an hour. I'm sorry your restaurant is crowded but I paid for my lunch and should at least be able to finish it.
