Editorial Review for Cabana – by Cadien Clark
In Short
The same people responsible for the popular Sunset Grill--Randy Rayburn and Craig Clifft--are the brains behind this versatile restaurant and bar. With an eye toward adaptability, this hot locale lends itself toward mellow daytime meals, morphing into an upscale spot with frequent DJs and live music in the evening. The fare, described as "New Southern Bistro Comfort Food," consists of options like Tennessee Sliders and Chicken Wing lollipops.

If you haven't been to Cabana in a while or ever, you should go! Great, hip atmosphere, good music and menu. I had the lobster brie mac n cheese....heavenly! Fine dining that won't break your bank! You don't feel like you are in Nashville when you are there. The look ic very chic, not your Dad's sports bar!

I've been to Cabana no less than 10 times in the past year, and I've received consistently good food. The fish is always cooked perfectly, and the portion size is well worth the price. There's always enough left for lunch the next day. My favorites are the Baked Salmon Purse (superb flavor combination and could serve as a meal), the Grilled Mahi, and the Blanco Pizza. If the Pacific Corvina is featured on the specials menu, take advantage! The large plates are priced well, but the appetizers are a bit overpriced, especially the martini meals and salads. Don't bother with the desserts---they aren't house made and you can tell they came from the fridge or freezer. They're likely Sysco desserts, and aren't great quality.
Pros: Great food, easy to get in on weeknights
Cons: service can be really good or really bad, dessert menu
