In Short – For being tucked away in a south suburban walking mall, this lounge is surprisingly metropolitan. The sparse decor features Asian-style wall paneling and high leather-bound stools lining the bar. Scotches, cognacs, ports and wines abound, with several wines available by the bottle or glass. Food options are minimal--there's only a few appetizers and deserts on the menu. However, cigar aficionados will love the attached Stogies & Bogeys, which proffers more than 600 handmade cigars.

Overrated and Biased reviews dont fool some

The places you need to be wary of the most are the ones with mostly "stellar" reviews and a few VERY BAD ONES! This place takes the cake!
Take it from me, I have given it more than literally a dozen chances because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, and honestly it lulls you in with a false sense of security.
I thought I would love this place, I guess the reviews and the cigar thing made me believe that. Do not get me wrong, I went there at first thinking the five stars was legit.
The staff are a joke! A couple (I mean 2!) clearly care about each and every customer. I feel sorry for them picking up the slack when they could be doing better. The others are absolutely horrid! They could care less about certain people. Their service is beyond snooty and passive aggressive, if you call them an error, expect to be there 15 minutes longer than you wanted to be to fix it.
Their beer selection is really bad even if you like bottles, and not as upscale as one would hope if you are a beer snob. Their prices are awful, and the only saving grace being big martinis at a reasonable price.
You will often wonder why you are waiting forever and have others around you served first by their passive aggressive male bartender. If your giant martini is missing olives or needs a little work, it will be warm by the time he gets back to you.
The biggest problem is they are inconsistent with customers and it seems they genuinly think that only a few matter. The prices are too high, the service is too bad and there is really nothing other than maybe your friends go here a lot to keep you coming back. They attract a crowd that favors "snob appeal" and are simply to complacent in the business they have to realize that no business model is sustainable.
Lets be honest, I am a cigar lover and I can tell their business would plummet if the smoking ban was lifted.
The other reviews on here that are favorable are not well thought out or written or take into account anything but personal bias.
After a dozen times actually going here and labeling what is good about the place, I can tell you that they are clueless to the fact that anyone matters but the five star type on here and thats all they care about. I have never been to a place so snooty that I can see the writing on the walls, unless they shape up, the fickle crowd are not going to stay impressed with the place because it just doesnt live up to its potential. Why? Because it is lulled into a false sense of its own accomplishments. It is a narcissistic snooty place to go, and it can only fool people for so long.

Beautiful decor, great staff, fun times!

Awesome spot! Makes downtown look like amatuer hour. This spot is sophisticated without being stuffy. Staff and customers are all attractive and friendly. Just moved to the area and I've been telling all of my co-workers (apparently I was the only one who hadn't heard about The Robusto Room). Big Fan. Period.

Great place for a drink after work

Great place on the way home from work to grab a beer and have a cigar. Awesome late night scene also.

The bar can be difficult to find from the street, so park in the United Artists Meadows theaters lot, then walk around the back of the Rio Grande restaurant.
Happy Hour:
Drink specials last from 4pm to 7pm nightly and include two-for-one on all well wine and drafts.
When to Go:
Check out Denver master trumpeter Hugh Ragin on Thursday nights. There is live jazz every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
