LIP SMACKING FANTASTIC---WOOF!. This place should be called Large Marges PLUS+++ Not only are the cheese steaks authentic...but Marge has fare for EVERYONE....chicken, veggie, breakfast..you name it. You gotta see this place. For those of you not of east coast heritage, this place is like a museum of South Philly.. I caught myself wanting to start yelling at other patrons....just because. I am originally from Pittsburgh..the other side of the state...but now I know what it means to be from PHILLY. Ya just gotta go in and let MARGE YELL AT YA!! (Oh yeah..have her show you her "legs" in one of the photo's on the wall!!! ummmmmmm!) ;) Then sit down and enjoy one of the tastiest meals you will have in Colorado. If you're visiting the Mile High City, or are a resident, and haven't made the drive out to Wheatridge...go...no...RUN...to your car...and get to LARGE MARGES. You WON'T be sorry!

A Great Philly Cheesesteak. This place is by far the best place to go for a real Philly Cheesesteak. This is as close to Philly as you are going to get. The owner is from South Philly!! How authentic is that!! Her and her son does most of the cooking. I ordered the 12" wit and tried some of their homemade hotsauce "Flaming Poo". The cheesesteak was juicy and held its flavor. The hotsauce was a real treat. It has a great flavor with just enough bite added to the sandwich. You can find TastyKakes here along with Birch Beer.

A special added feature they have is the Vegetarian Cheesesteak. Something you have to try and I'm told taste just like a cheesesteak.

I highly recommend this place. Marge is a hoot!!

No one can eat here just once!!!. The Philly Cheesesteaks are made from rib eye steaks. I have to say it again, the Philly cheesesteaks are made from rib eye steaks. They are the best tasting thing I have ever eaten. I love this place. Please trust me, you will not be disappointed!!! Thanks Marge, Deb, Shawn and staff. You guys are a gift to those of us that like great food!!!

Highly Addictive. I salivate like Pavlov's dog every time I think of Marge's cheesesteaks. Best I've tasted anywhere, and am now a regular.

Wow, this place is GREAT!. Now, I'm from Colorado and I rarely travel outside of the state. The cheesesteaks I've had before were good to me. Being a huge fan of BBQ, i've read about Geno's Cheesesteaks and Pats as well (namely from BBQ USA by Steven Raichlen). I remember thinking to myself "Now how good could a cheesesteak really be?" It can be DARN good!

Now this is what the hype in Philly is all about! Man, these cheesesteaks are good. Suddenly every other cheesesteak that i've ever had in my life now tastes like crud. This place has become an addiction. Right after I finish writing this review i'm going straight to Marge's. I had one last night for dinner, too.

The menu is small, but this place is here for the cheesesteaks. Yeah, she does make hotdogs, fries and a few other items, but if you want a cheesesteak this is definitely the place to go. Wonderful service and great prices, too!

Best Philly Steak in Colorado. Having lived in Pennsylvania and visiting Pat"s and Geno"s Steaks hundreds of times in the 54 years that I lived there, I was delighted to find a Place such as Large Marges. Food is Excellent!

Don't settle for a "Steak-Um". If you want to have the best cheesesteak this side of Philly made with real steak, you have to come try out Large Marge's! Warning: This place is highly addictive but so very gooood! Cheesesteaks are always hot and fresh along with the fries. Variety of other things to try too. The service is incredible and the price is very reasonable. Go check it out and meet the larger than life 'Large Marge'!

What a surprise!!!. I have to say I was quite surprised with this little shop since I am originally from Philly and have lived in Colorado for over 10 years now. I just realized this place opened in my neighborhood and is the best kept secret so far. Of course being from Philly I was skeptical of yet another "so called" Philly Cheesesteak place opening to only find out they will serve so-so food. NOT ANY MORE!!! While I was waiting for my cheesesteak I had the opportunity to chat with the owner to find out she is really from South Philadelphia...accent and all!! What a character!! It felt like old times!! This place is a must for those in search of a real cheesesteak. However, come with cash or check. They do not accept credit cards.
