In Short – From the soaring architecture on the outside to the marble floors and triple-sheeted beds inside, this hotel focuses on the details. Splashes of color fill the polished wood-and-stone lobby as decorative bronze climbers ascend the brick walls. Most of the 1,100 guest rooms offer skyline and mountain views. Amenities for business travelers include an in-hotel FedEx/Kinkos, wireless internet and plush meeting rooms. The downtown location offers easy exploration of the city.
Romantic and accommodating

We came to this downtown Denver hotel for a birthday weekend. Our great experience here started with the very kind check in staff and ended with the quick and easy valet parking. The rooms are just wonderful with a soft bed that included six down pillows. Our room came with a large bathtub with beautiful tan and black decor. We had a fantastic view of the mountains and the highrise buildings in the area. The hotel is a short block from the 16th Street Mall where there is plenty of shopping and food. We were a little disappointed the hotel did not have a fridge in the room as we brought back food from dinner. We did eat breakfast at the buffet at the hotel and though it was good it was not worth the $16 they charge a person. We also thought the $26 they charge for overnight parking was a bit high. The workout gym at the hotel is above most other hotels with lots of machines. The indoor pool is pretty small and not very impressive. Overall this is a very accommodating hotel with a high class ambience. We couldn't have been happier.
- Pros: Very nice hotel in the middle of Downtown Denver a few blocks from Capitol building and shopping
- Cons: Expensive parking ($26) and no fridge in room
Superb Hotel at a great price

We have stayed at several hotels in Denver over the past year but the Hyatt Regency at the Convention Center has been our favorite. The amenities are superb (plush bed and sheets, 32" plasma, nice desk for the laptop) and the decor is clean (earth tones) with a nice open lobby that includes a hip bar.
- Pros: Great location, very nice rooms, excellent bar
- Cons: parking can be expensive
