Salon Instrukt: Hidden treasure!. After just moving to Denver from Nebraska, I was a little nervous about finding a good salon. My sister had recommended Salon Instrukt and so I gave it a try. Right away, I felt comfortable in the salon- so many friendly people and a laid back environment. The salon has an overall "cozy" feeling. :)

My stylist, ALYSHA is the best stylist I have ever had! She not only listened carefully to what I was hoping to achieve with my hair, but also made sure that I was completely happy with the results after. She is extremely kind, funny and can talk to you about anything! :) Alysha makes you feel comfortable and at ease knowing that your hair will come out just as you would like it. While Alysha is my favorite stylist, it is clear that all of the others are fabulous at this salon too!

Not a good experience. I went to Salon Instrukt this weekend because they were open on Sunday. I had a partial hi-light. First, my roots are still VERY obvious. I have naturally dark blonde hair and had blonde hi-lights. She did not put in enough hi-lights to blend in my roots from the previous time I had my hair hi-lighted. Second she did not let the color process long enough, so the hi-lights she did put in look very brassy. I am having to use a blue based shampoo to try to tone down the orange tint.

Second, I had her cut bangs. And they are horrible. I thought they looked weird at the salon, but I thought I could play with them when I got home and fix them. First, they were cut too short. They were cut very blunt and like a bowl cut across my forehead. They are completely wrong for the shape of my face.

I'm not going back to have this salon fix them, because I really don't want anything worse than I already have to deal with! I am going to an Aveda salon that was recommended by a friend.

Overall, I was not pleased with this experience. The stylist was extremely friendly, but the results were not what I paid for.

$70 for a partial hi-light and a bang trim -- both of which I'm going to have to have corrected -- is not worth it. I definitely expected better results for the price paid.  View Less … View More

I went for the first time last month and I loved it. They have confidence in what they are doing and that makes you very confortable, I had a cut and haircolor and it looked great, I definitely recommend it, i made another appointment for this week, can't wait to go back.  View Less … View More
