Sorry to hear this is now a chain. I grew up in Arlington Heights and lived right around the corner from the very first Rosatti's and it was so delicious. I haven't had any since the early 80's but I imagine the quality is not as good as it was back then.

How does it compair to Chicago? Follow-up. I returned again to specifically order the Chicago style and thin crust. I don't see or taste any difference between their thin crust and the thin crust from Chicago locations, which always vary a tiny bit from one location to the next anyway.

However their Chicago style deep dish is all wrong. Please somebody tell me they just had a new employee making the pizzas because the only other explanation is that the recipe for Chicago deep dish is forbidden to pass the boarders of Chicagoland. First off Chicago deep dish is supposed to be made with a different crust recipe than thin crust. It is hard to describe, but bread-like or soft is not one of them. A second unique characteristic of the deep dish I love is that the sauce is actually not sauce at all, but whole tomatoes that have been crushed. Thirdly, when sausage is added, the sausage is pressed into a patty instead of the crumbles like on a thin crust. The only thing they got right was to put the sauce on top.

I'm sure everything else on their menu is fine. Their thin crust passed the test, but I can't bring myself to enjoy their version of Chicago deep dish. It might be good to others not familiar with how Rosati's should be, but you will be disappointed if you are looking for deep dish here.

Below average pizza and service. I ordered a thin-crust pizza for pick-up and was initially put on hold - -no big deal. I figured they must've been busy. I placed my order and was told it would be 20-25 minutes. That seemed a little long compared to the place I used to order from but, again, not a big deal.

When I walked in I was the only other customer there. Clearly there was not a rush. I could see a handful of employees (all teens or in their early 20s) in the back, all gabbing away. I waited at the front counter for 3-4 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. It was a little annoying.

The pizza still wasn't ready (it had been 25 minutes), so I waited for it to be ready. As I drove home I thought, "If the pizza's good, I'll give the place another try; maybe it was a bad service night."

The pizza was not that good. It wasn't horrible, either, but it didn't really have a lot of flavor and the toppings were a little skimpy; mostly there was a lot of cheese. Given the service experience I had, I won't order from there again. I also felt the pizza was overpriced for what I got.

AMAZING CHICAGO STYLE PIZZA. My wife and I are from Chicago, and have been looking for a good pizza for over a year. We finally found one, just like back home. We tried the thin crust and the chicago style, both were awesome. They also serve a great Italian beef, wet with gardiniera- to die for.

Thanks Rosati's, we'll be back.

terrible service and pizza is plain. Called on a Thursday evening and the teen that answered the phone didn't know if they delivered. Very small delivery radius. When asked about different crusts, she got another teen to explain. Ordered Chicago style cheese and the pizza was oversaused and under cheesed. The middle was raw the edges were burned. Not worth the money.

best pizza around....period. I looked for 6 years for pizza I liked in this area, and I'm happy to say I've finally found it. Been here several times over the past year and the food is great, every time. I love the thin crust but all styles of pizza are great. Try the sausage or the white pie! The Chief is also very tasty if you're in the mood for a sandwich. Service is fast and friendly and delivery times are comparable with any other local pizza chain.

Best Pizza in the State!. Colorado finally has great Pizza! These guys make the best thin crust pizza - it's even cut in squares, Chicago-Style! The Italian Beef is homeade and INCREDIBLE. They can get pretty busy on the weekends but they're well worth the wait!
