My husband and I hired JH basement to finish our basement last month. We are thrilled with their work. We have even joked about moving completely into the basement because we love it more than our upstairs, Their good faith estimate was dead on, they were on time, very friendly and professional and even built an entertainment center beyond what we pictured.

I have heard many horror stories about contractors and to honest was worried to allow someone in my home for weeks at time. I was bold enough to share this with the contractor and he was very sensitive to the issue. They loaded all the materials through our basement window to ensure my carpet wouldn't have an additional ware and tare. They even used our walk out entrance instead of our front entrance to give us more privacy. I have never heard of a contractor being so accommodating. Even the contractors sons were professional. It really is a wonderful family business. We never heard them working and were even able to freely entertain friends while they were working. The lockbox on the door was nice too because we didn't have to be home for them to work.

Overall I am quite impressed with this business and they even finished a week early which I have never heard of! My husband and I hope to move to our dream home in the next few years and JH basement will be one of our first phone calls.

I had my basement done about three years ago by JH Basement Finish. At the time of interview, Joe gave me an info packet that had a lot of reading materials on recouping my investment and national averages and standards. To be honest I didn't read through the whole thing because I was just interested in getting my basement done the way I wanted for the amount of money I wanted with the quality I wanted. Recently, my wife and I put our house on the market and it sold for the full asking price on the first day it was on the market - the new owners said it was the basement that "Sold them." So now after enjoying my basement for three years I get out of it every cent I put into it. That reading material is pretty valuable.

My husband and I had Joe Hannah from JH basement finish our basement this winter and it turned out to be more than I could ever have imagined. Being a Christian company and coming in at a reasonable price is exactly what we were looking for.

The contractors were great and very professional. Trash and debris was cleaned up every day and nothing dangerous was laying around in case one of my kids walked down.

Joe was great to work with. My family recommends JH Basement!

I called JH Basement to get an estimate. They were pleasant on the phone, answered all my questions and set up an appt (very professional). Joe showed up on time with a lovely packet that explained everything about their company. He took measurements, showed me much of the work that they had done, asked me what I envisioned and then told me what was and wasn't possible due to code restrictions. It was a very pleasant and informative meeting. He arranged a time on Friday to come back out and drop of the proposal. To our surprise when he came back, he had done a computer drawing of our basement taking into account our wants and his experience. He also presented us with a Proposal, references and a coupon for optional upgrade. He again was on time, pleasant and extremely professional. Unfortunately, we found out that my job was not secure and we had to hold off on the basement. I called Joe and he said - "We will be here when you are ready and guarantee our price. " What a nice company.

Making such a big decision as the one to have your basement finished requires a lot of research, talking with past clients and finding out as much as you can about a company. I did all these things and it paid off!!!!! Joe came out gave us a free estimate and prepared a drawing at no charge. He was clear about would be included down to the smallest detail. He put a lock box on the door so we would not have work around his schedule. He was more than willing to work with us on any changes we wanted during construction, many of which did not even incur additional costs. Joe and his sons exemplify what we all think of in a family business, accessible, courteous and considerate. In the end, we loved all the contractors, we felt heard, and the finished project is so lovely we cannot wait for our friends and family to come over and see it. JH Basement is a definite recommend, only wish I had another basement to finish. Joe Hannah is respected even among other contractors. When we told them we went with JH Basement and Joe, they assured us that we would have a great outcome, and we did!!!

They got the job done in the amount of time promised for the price promised with the quality and professionalism expected. There is a reason they have been doing this for 25 years. Joe is very knowledgeable about codes and ordinances design and construction - very happy with the final product.

I recently had my basement finished by JH Basement Finish and was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. Our work was completed during the time that was promised, the cost was exactly as contracted except that we added a few things during construction which Joe was more than happy to accommodate. The job site was clean and the work was completed with an eye for detail. I would recommend this family business to anyone looking to have their basement completed!

I'm a stay at home mom with 2 young kids so believe me, my husband I did our research before selecting a company to finish the basement. We really needed someone we could trust and I could not be happier with JH Basement. Joe's contractors were great, especially with my 3 year old who loved having 'worker men' at our house every day. I always watch the reality renovation shows and was nervous about such a big project and having people in and out of our home, but Joe was such a pleasure to work with. He had great suggestions and answered all of our questions. They demolished most of our basement and rebuilt 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, laundry room, living area and put in a full kitchen. With his skills and experience he envisioned exactly what would be perfect for our family. They did an amazing job and in no time at all. My friends and family are in shock of the transformation. We will always recommend JH Basement! I can see how he's won the best of aurora small business award multiple times! Thanks again, Joe!
