Best Family Practice. I have been with Dr. Hindes since he moved from downtown and opened Healthy Futures. After moving around from Dr. to Dr. (about 10 in all) and being with multiple insurance plans I have discovered one thing - he is the best.

They do not treat you like a number (Like every craptastic HMO out there) and they always listen to what you have to say. I know it sounds too good to be true, but there it is.

To whatever troll listed him as a 1 star - looks like you are dropping names and its a little bit transparent that you work for that other doctor.

Couldn't Have Been Better. Sadly, we chose to terminate a much wanted pregnancy due to a birth defect. At first, I was angry that I had to go to an "abortion clinic" to get this done because our PPO hospital was religiously-affiliated. We chose Healthy Futures (which is also a regular ob/gyn clinic as well, by the way) and worked with Dr. Hindes. A year after the event, I have to say that Heatthy Futures, Dr. Hindes, and his staff are the best things I remember about the experience. Going through something like is absolutely horrific, but they made me feel like I was going to be OK, offered me great advice that I badly needed, and treated me with the utmost kindess and respect. IThey were also very professional and prompt. When you are going through something like this, it is nice to feel like the doctors have the same sense of urgency and concern that you do. I think that they must help many people end much wanted pregancies that our religiously-affiliated hospitals won't touch for fear of losing their precious funding. It didn't seem like my situation was unique to them. If you find yourself in this situation, please go see the people at Healthy Futures.

Couldn't have been more pleased!. Having been a patient of a large HMO for the last 10 years it was a pleasure to begin a relationship with Healthy Futures. The background paperwork was comprehensive, the front office staff were pleasant and professional, the waiting area was comfortable, clean and attractive and my wait to be seen was minimal and appropriate.

Once in the examination room my practicioner arrived quickly, meaningful time was spent with me and I fully believe she listened, understood and cared about me. Trust was built quickly.

I whole heartedly recommend this practice to patients of all ages.

This place has CHANGED! (Original review below, it used to be that good, now its really that bad) From 5 stars to 1 (only because I can't give them zero). I don't know if they're a victim of tight budgets, government interference, or staff change, but the care for patience has gone to non-existent.

Originally I thought it was just me and a personality clash, so I refrained from modifying my review, until now.

See, my wife remained loyal, but it is now clear that decision was a mistake. I actually understand her desire to stay with them, until a few months ago, she was actually able to function normally - her and her doctors there had reached a formula for success. They are now taking that away, citing poor excuses, using inaccurate records (fortunately our Pharmacy had accurate records) to further reduce care. Now she is once again desperate for a good doctor, as I am.

For me - they just flat said they refused to deal with my issues - I was welcome to pick two and wait another month before discussing the others. I'm still seeking a new doctor, but I'm having much more success self medicating than Healthy Futures was offering by the time I left.

Its truly sad to see such a once great place slowly decline to something that should be avoided like the plague, but sadly that is where they are now. I was hoping they would turn around, but they seem locked in a downward spin when it comes to quality care.

-----------------Original review no longer true ----------------

For the first time ever, I found a PCP at Healthy Futures that took care of my needs. Never found an equal. I always got personal attention, and for the first time in my life, feel I have my allergies under control.

Was skeptical at first when my wife recommended, boy was I wrong; Doctor and staff were great!

Great all around care that works very well with my lifestyle. I wish my company handn't gone to an HMO; I will seriously miss Healthy Futures.

Very professional and caring. I had been from doctor to doctor over the last 10 years trying to find someone who would listen to me, believe me and not rush me out the door. I finally found Healthy Futures a year and a half ago. They rock!

I have never had to wait more than a few minutes in the lobby or the room. Both Stephanie Beltz and Dr. Hines take their time with you, listen to your concerns and treat you like a human instead of another file.

I have been battling chronic pain for years and this is the first time that I feel like I am being treated as an adult and not like a child with phantom pains. Thanks to Stephanie, I now have a diagnosis, on a regime that incorporates Western and Eastern medicine. I literally owe my quality of life to her.

Highly recommend to all.
