SLOW service, Cold Food, Won't be back.. Long wait for food that arrived cold, and was tasteless.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! Like other reviewers, had heard rave reviews and was excited to check it out. Server was quick enough with drinks, but waited about a half hour for food. Ordered basic Sausage w/ Egg breakfast, sausage gravy and biscuits. Portion of sausage gravy was pitiful; spoonful on top of two biscuits. Gravy was cold and tasteless. Potatoes were undercooked and cold. Sausage was cold, and not worth eating the calories. What a let down!

Noisy, poor preparation, not worth the money. I'd read the menu online, and heard raves about it, and as a friend was coming from Alaska, we were looking for breakfast places. So I ordered. First, bacon half raw,So, I sent the bacon back, and they returned it: burned. They didn't have cranberry nut toast. "Then I'd like a pancake if you don't have the toast listed in the menu." There was some wrangling with the 'boss', and I soon got the correct toast, but it wasn't buttered. Waitress asked if all was OK. I told her to return the burned bacon to the chef. They brought out more bacon...meantime, my poached eggs and potatoes are getting cold. I didn't like the potatoes, but ate my toast and a little edible parts of bacon, and the cold eggs.

They should have either asked to give me a free drink, or compted me, but no. They are riding high on recent reviews. So, they didn't say a word when I told the 'boss' that I'd never come back or recommend the place.

I left the waitress a 25% tip, it wasn't her fault.

Don't bother, it was so noisy, people went outside to cell phone, making it even draftier because the place has no foyer.

Awful service - mediocre food. Don't bother. Food was slow getting to us, The order was incomplete and the waitress was unapologetically indifferent. Waste of time and the $22.00 our meal cost us. Won't be back - ever. Many better restaurants in the metro area worth considering.

Wonderful Experience. I was there this past weekend and had a great experience. I had the eggs benedict and it was delicious. They were super busy, but I still received excellent service. By the way, great coffee!!!!

My new favorite Breakfast place. Everything my family has ever had here is so delicious. I could go on and on about how much we love the food. All the bread is thick and how bread should taste, great green chili and they actually cook my eggs right. We don't go as much as we'd like because there is almost always a wait unless you go early and then you will likely get sat in the back room.

Moldy Food. A friend and I had lunch at Toast on a verbal recommendation from someone who had eaten there previously and had had "a great breakfast". We ordered sandwiches, and, when our meals arrived, my friend noticed that her sandwich roll was moldy and pointed it out to the waitress. The waitress apologized and took it back to the kitchen, and we waited quite awhile for the replacement. At no time did the waitress offer to comp my friend's meal or even reduce the price (and meals there are not inexpensive). I did not see any mold on my sandwich, but the fact that the restaurant was serving moldy food was off-putting, to say the least. I won't be returning or recommending this restaurant to anyone.

The BEST place for breakfast in town!! (And for lunch!!). I ate here a few days after Christmas with my mom and my sisters and this place is WONDERFUL!! It's low key atmosphere is comfortable and clean and the food is amamzing. I had a difficult time choosing one dish to order. I ended up ordering the grilled brie and apple sandwich. It was amazing. It had fresh, crisp Granny Smith apples with delicious melted brie cheese, tomato, lettuce and a raspberry pecan aioli which was soooo good! Everybody else at the table really enjoyed their food, too! I thought it was maybe a little overpriced, especially for the things like pancakes, but the food is so good, I don't care! My sister has dined here a few times and can recommend a few of the pancakes and french toast dishes. Like the berries and cream french toast. Yum! I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. They even have great things for kids on their menu. I highly recommend this place!

All around not good.. First off, there was no where to park for they only have enough parking for maybe 10 cars, so we had to park behind the place at a maternity clothing store. when we did get in we were seated at a table about a foot away from the table next to us. the severs would sit down to take our order. the food is way out there and took about 45 min. for the cook to bring us our food even though the waiter wasnt doing anything.I got the santa-fe french toast but with all the stuff ontop of it I couldnt even tast the french toast. I was about the middle of the restraunt and I could hear the cooks swearing and yelling at eachother. also my waiter had chew in his mouth and got our food mixed up with the table next to us ( I understand cause the tables are so close together). All in all I had a bad exparience. Maybe it was a bad night but Im not going back to find out.

Best Breakfast in Littleton!. After reading other reviews on this website, I was a little worried about trying Toast. But after eating there this morning I can honestly say its one of the best breakfast places in all of Denver. I had the Santa Fe french toast which was a savory delight, like nothing else served in town. My wife had the berries and cream French Toast and it was a mountain of blueberries and strawberries. We also each had a side of bacon which was large, crispy, and really tasty! The service was great while not being overwhelming. I was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness and the atmosphere. The parking was easy, right off Littleton/Bowles and Santa Fe. Overall it was one of the best breakfast experiences I have had in my 10 years in Denver. Definitely worth the wait and the money!!!
