Best Sushi in Littleton, Best service anywhere!. Having frequented this restaurant for a few years, I can say without a doubt that Sushi Basho is by far the best and most delicious sushi restaurant in Littleton. The staff are always attentive, the fish is always fresh, and the variety of dishes along with the culinary creativity of their chefs is unsurpassed.

A wonerful atmosphere suitable for any occasion, reasonable prices and food that is to die for!

Excellent Sushi. Not only is this one of the best sushi joints in town, it's also very well priced. Service is always great (not sure what others are experiencing, I've never had so much as a glass of water go empty) and all staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Basho has a good variety of traditional and Americanized rolls. Their Yellow and Yummy rolls are some of the best I've had (and I've had a lot!). Also love their hamachi as the yellowtail is always very pink and fresh.

Overall, I'd say this is my favorite place to eat in town. Now, I do love the well known establishments like Sushi Den, but why bother waiting an hour for a table on a Friday night 25 minutes away when I can head 10 minutes from my house for comparable cuisine (and get in right away)? And this place far surpasses any chain sushi or strip mall sushi place I've been.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great sushi for a good price in a casual place.

Awful Service. Don't Bother.. We went in on Saturday night at 9:20.

They close at 10.

We looked at a menu, and the "Waitress" interrupted us by shouting "IT'S 9:40!!!!!!!! YOU TAKE TO GO????????"

Sorry, lady, but that's when I drop the menus and walk out, never to return.

First: It's NOT 9:40. It's 9:20. You have 40 minutes to make us 2 damn sushi rolls and you're too damn lazy to bother.

Second: YOU ARE OPEN UNTIL TEN. That means I can come in at 9:59 and you'd better serve me.

Otherwise, I'll tell everyone I can to stay away.

So: Stay Away!

Used to be great, now poor service & total rip offs. Let me say, I've been going here for years, even used to work here. However, at the beginning of 2009 new owners took over & it's gone down hill from there. The new owners/wait staff give extremely poor service, & try to rip us off every time we dine there! They don't take your drink order for at least 10 minutes, when they are not even busy. And they visit the table maybe twice during your visit, to take your order & bring you the check. They also don't bring all the sushi we order, thinking we may forget that we ordered it, but get charged anyway. It use to be an awesome restaurant, but not any more:(

Best Sushi Place in Englewood/Littleton. We LOVE Sushi Basho. We make it a point to go there at least once a month. They have $1 sushi pieces all the time, thier fish is fresh, the staff is friendly and the service is fast. Honeslty I have never ordered off of the entree' menu as I only go there for the sushi but I have also never wanted to eat anything but the sushi. They have a huge variety of special rolls and we have yet to eat something we didn't like.

Great Chinese Interpretation of Japanese Food. My boyfriend and I had lunch here and we were both disappointed. This place is owned and operated by Chinese folks and I'm sure they do the best they can, but the food is simply not authenic. I ordered Katsu Don, a little comfort food I used to eat in Japan, but was told that they couldn't serve the dish for some reason. The Chinese manager said I could get Cashew Chicken instead. Well, if I wanted to have Chinese food, I would have gone to a Chinese eatery... So I had Teriyaki Salmon and he had Yakitori. My piece of salmon must have come from an anorexic salmon. And the owners must have never eaten real Yakitori before, because it was simply not even close. I recommend Basho, if you are looking for Chinese version of Japanese food, but if you are looking for authentic Japanese food, Basho is NOT the place you want to be.

Don't Waste Your Time. What a horrible dining experience. $1 sushi is not accurate, and be careful because the waitstaff will gouge prices if you're not careful. Oh, and there's no manager ever present if there is a concern. Don't waste your time. There are too many other great deals out there to mess around with this manipulative and conniving place.

Awesome sushi and service. My family and I discovered Sushi Basho by accident-it was good fortune! The sushi was fresh, the service was awesome, and I highly recommend going for a meal. The sushi chefs create big, wonderful pieces and our waitress was knowledgeable about the different types they served and the owners and managers cared deeply about us having a great experience. We plan on visiting 3-4 times/month as compared to other sushi restaurants this one is simply fabulous.

Awesome Sushi, great price!. I love Sushi Basho. It is definitely one of the best sushi joints in the Littleton area. I visit this restaurant regularly. I have never been disappointed with a roll. The also have great green tea ice cream. I highly recommend this place.
