Tips for Kai Japanese Cuisine

Not worth a visit.
Located in a small house in Littleton, Kai has the potential to offer great atmosphere and an intimate dining experience.
During a recent lunchtime visit, my friend and I decided to order yakisoba and a tofu teriyaki bowl. The waitress refused to take an order for the tofu, stating "Most American teenagers order tofu, find out they don't like it, and then we have to take it back." I should mention that since my friend is Asian and in her 30s, Kai was likely not her first experience with tofu. We got the same runaround when we tried to order miso soup.
The food itself was ok (but not great), especially given the price. However, I would gladly pay ten times as much to eat somewhere that treats its customers better.
