Service was okay, but the prices weren't.. I went in there looking for a rifle. After being ignored a few times by the salesman (the guys that came in got waited on immediately, but being a woman, I don't think he took me seriously), another salesman came onto the floor and talked with me. He was very knowledgeable, and overall, the experience was good. But the low rating is primarily for the pricing. The rifle I was looking at was marked $13 higher than the MSRP. (I ended up getting it at Jensen's in Loveland for $75 less than what Gander wanted for it.)

I also question their business practices in regard to used weapons (they buy and sell used guns). I collect Mosin Nagant rifles, and they had one there that was nice, but they wanted WAY too much for it, and it was mislabled as being made by a more collectable manufacturer, when in actuality it was made by a much more common and less collectable maker. The maker's mark was pretty plain to see and the information is easily obtainable, so all I can guess is they labelled it that way to try and sucker people into thinking it was worth the far too high of a price they put on it. If you are interested in a used gun from them, make sure you know what you're buying.
