Pretty great Hot Dog.
Pretty darn good but a little pricey.
I like the Chicago dog the best. Add onion rings and limeade and I'm set.
Would add another star if the prices were $1 or so less. Won't keep me from returning though.

Get a Ripper.
Steve's is really the only good hot dog place I have been to in Colorado. This kind of quality and attention to detail may be reminiscent of days past, but believe you me, it exists at Steve's. Made to order everything. Burgers are great, but the dogs are the best. You can have them one of two ways, cooked on their grill, or deep fried ripper style, which I highly recommend. Inventive add-ons are a huge plus if you are looking for variety. My best recommendation is a Dallas Dog Coney Style, a Rockies Dog an order of their delicious fries and a chocolate malted shake to top it all off. Oh, and they have beer.

I ate the best burger in town at this hot dog place.
Who would have thought that a hot dog vendor would have the best hamburger in town? I stopped in this kid-friendly hot dog shack on east Colfax and instead of ordering their featured franks, I ordered a Smashburger - that's right - they have their own version of a smashburger and it wasn't only better than the other restaurant's signature burger of the same name - it was half the price.
I frequent Old School Burgers and occasionally the Smashburgers when I'm in the mood for a good hamburger but this Steve's place has the best one of them all. Want a great burger - try your local hot dog stand or at least, stop at Steve's I'm sure his dogs are good but I'm a burger girl and Steve's got the best one in town for the price. The Cherry Cricket and Trinty's burger are great but Steve's is the best burger for the buck.

Editorial Review by Dave Flomberg.
Colfax stand serves franks in state-themed ways, including a Denver "Burrito" dog, an Atlanta "Slaw Dog" and the venerable Chicago Dog.
