Owner is a bully. Allows smoking and tries to intimidate.. There is a smoking ban in Denver. Smokers must stay 15 feet from an entrance. Today I complained to the owner and at first he told me they are allowed to smoke. When I showed him the law on my iPad and asked him again to ask the smokers to move, he got very belligerent. He stormed outside and told the smokers that I (me) was going to have them arrested if they continue to smoke. Then he turned to me and said "you don't have to come back here, you know"

It's too bad because the pastries are good here, and I am a huge supporter of local businesses. But this was truly uncalled for.

I did not appreciate being intimidated and being treated so inredibly rudely by the owner.

Finally getting the recognition it deserves!!. After having a fabulous time with family and friends at this bakery every time that I visit Denver I decided that it was time to let others know about this hidden treasure. Much to my delight I realized that many people know about it and it was just voted best bakery in Denver! However, I noticed that this woman named Andra keeps writing nasty comments about the bakery on every review site possible and posts new comments when the feeling to be malicious overcomes her? One comment per customer seems enough to flex your freedom of speech. More than that makes you seem a bit unhinged and like you have a hidden agenda.

Terrible service, mediocre baked goods. This is where you go when you want to be abused by a wait person. Sometimes a great product may allow you to overlook mediocre service. The problem at this bakery is that the baked goods are inconsistent, mostly mediocre; if you really pick right one day perhaps good. The service is impossible. No one expects the owner, a temperamental baker, to be all cheers--he is in the back of the house creating. But his front of the house person, a middle-aged, frustrated, and mostly incompetent lady makes you want to run for the hills. We thought her unwelcoming and unprofessional attitude was an isolated incident, but after three visits at the bakery and similar experiences we called it good. We are certainly NEVER going back there. No one should have to pay to put up with that kind of awful service. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
