Good food, douchey staff. The food is fabulous (albeit a little expensive) but the staff makes the entire experience rather unpleasant. If I wanted to spend time with a bunch of rude and condescending college kids I would move to Boulder!
Good salads, but.... First off, the salads are good, but there are few things. - The employees are rude, aloof and way too cool to be there. I mean really, my "alternative" lifestyle makes me better then you, so much so that I've chosen to work here, whatever that's fine, it takes all people to make the world work, but if I'm paying $10+ for a salad and a drink, at least drop the attitude. Soon there will be enough salad shops that the market will open up and they may feel it. - Fix your menu. If you do not have watercress, and they haven't for nearly a year, change it, otherwise I will ask for something in it's place and stop acting as if I am asking for extras, I'm not. -- Go in exptecting to be overcharged for a a good salad and treated as if you "just don't get it" anymore...
Green is Good. Green is a very good salad place. Everything seems fresh, and they give you a lot of salad. The lines are long, but move pretty quickly. You can order one of their creations, or create your own. Every time I create my own, and am always charged for extra items I didn't order. Be careful on that, but otherwise, I recommend it for a healthy choice for lunch!
Best Salad in Denver! No question.. Several people in my office had been raving about this place and telling me I had to try it...finally I did and I am hooked. I was afraid of the long lunchtime line but discovered it moved very quickly and is well worth the wait. On my first visit I panicked and ordered a Signature Salad...The Sweet Baby which was excellent. Since then I have created my own and tried more of the Signature Salads, I am never disappointed. The soups are also amazing! Green is located on 16th and Arapahoe under the clock tower between The Palm and The Corner Bakery. Give it a try...you won't be sorry.
