Denver >Korea House
Asian cuisine <3. This place was just amazing. It had all the qualities that i look for in a korean bbq. I've been to many korean bbq's such as Seoul bbq, but Korea House had the best service that i could ever ask for. The restaurant itself is very unique, and it even allows you to sit down while you eat. It made me feel like i was really in Korea. Mr. Manager, You'll see me at your restaurant a lot!
Best Korean In Town. I Love this Restaurant SO much. The food is great. The staff is amazing and I wish i could eat this everyday. Everything is so cheap that I came with 5 bucks and came out full. Im Korean so I know what good is when i see it
A real taste of Asia. It felt like i was in Korea and their service was out standing. The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. I'm Mexican and this restaurant spicy food quenched my hunger for spice. I would go to this restaurant every day if i could
EXQUISITE DELICACY. This restaurant is just INCREDIBLE. I went there with my boyfriend and we ordered just about EVERYTHING. Everything was just too good. I loved the Korean BBQ. I can just taste it right now sizzling in my mouth. My favorite though was the Bibimbap. It has very original style, but their own unique flavor added to it. I recommend you go there. Amazing food for a cheap price.
VERY AMAZING FOOD!. This place has good service, and I can tell that they care about the taste of the food. I think that it is also very cheap, and they have a friendly environment that makes me feel like I am actually in Korea. I've been to many BBQ's, but this one has to be a favorite.
Good food. I'm Korean as well and I also know what to pick. I like to try a place during lunch so I can get a taste of the food without spending too much. Their lunch menu is great with a lot of options. For $10 I ordered the Bulgogi and Kimchi soup which came with all the side dishes and as much as I wanted. You can also order the usual bento box or soups for $8 or less but for a couple of $ more - might as well get 2 entree choices.
Mediocre. I've been to the Korea House quite a few times as my family loves Korean bbq. The staff is always very nice and the service is prompt, however, the building itself is very, very cold. It does tend to heat up after a crowd gathers but beware if you're going to be the first one seated at lunch time. The staff is great with kids. Unfortunately, they have no flexibility in substituting side dishes, soups, etc. which is surprising considering their combination offerings are SO expensive. There is no lunch menu and no early bird pricing. I would recommend trying one of the smaller places around town where the service is more flexible and you can eat without having to wear your coat through dinner.
I've gone here a few times and all those times I had bad experience! The food just stinks! I'm Korean and so I pretty much know what to order. First when we went there, we just wanted some kind of dessert. yeah simple dessert, they brought out ice cream that was frost bitten. YUCK! My dad paid anyways cuz he felt bad though none of us could eat it. Then we went and had kimchi jjigae...it was burnt on the bottom! I had my hubby order and bring food home cuz we live like 5 minutes away. The side dishes are sooo nasty!! I couldn't even eat it. Never will go again!
Freaking 18.00 for bulgogi!!! and they charge you for rice!!!!!! My god....i can make rice at home!
Editorial Review. On the outskirts of Denver, find this friendly Korean barbecue, with table grilling and a full dinner menu. First-timers will get a walk-through from the waitstaff.
At Lunch times is Cold and Expensive.
You only get one chance for a first impression. I tend to try the lunch menu in fancy, expensive joints and I was not suitably attracted to come back. The inside looks better than the Strip Mall outside.
The well decorated 1990's Benehana type shabu seating is set for tableside grilling. But it was cold in there for lunch, perhaps it's warmer at night with all the tables blazing.
They have no lunch menu. You pay Dinner entree prices all the time. Sorry mister manager, but would it not be wiser to attract us with lunch specials before we commit to a $100 Dinner?
The place is set up for large gatherings, so maybe they have a set clientel and need no new business.
I will never know, since I left after seeing the prices. Besides, I didn't have a parka.
