I'd drive 100 miles for this pizza. I've had 20+ dishes from here and I have never had anything I didn't LOVE! The food is fresh, well made and the people are friendly!

I highly recommend Mattie's... There is no better fresh italian food!

If you DON'T LIKE Al Dente and you LIKE Ragu go to Mattie's. If you like your basic supermarket noodles cooked at home and topped with Ragu - then Matties is the place for you except it's 6 times more costly. As for their Pizza it's not so good. I would rather have the 4.99 all you can eat pizza at cici's pizza than at Matties. Besides you can drive 1 block south on tower road to Coopers bar and grill - I believe it's called Rookies bar and Grill now and get Great NY style Pizza that gets voted in the top 10 pizza in denver every now and then!

Authentic NY Pizza. I have been eating at Mattie Soprano's Pizzeria since they opened their doors almost 5 years ago. Every time I go the atmosphere and staff are friendly and inviting. The food is excellant and their portion size is very large. It is the only place out by the airport that you can get authentic NY style pizza. They also have an all you can eat lunch buffet that includes pizza, soup, salad, pasta dishes, and some main course items.

Best Pizza & Pasta around.... Our family eats here regularly! We love the pizza and the "Mattie's" special dishes! The staff is friendly and accomodating. We love Mattie Sopranos! Especially the lunch buffet, so many pastas, and fresh pizza's every 10 or 15 minutes! All for a great price!

WARNING!! ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!. I am an ex-chef at Mattie Sopranos and I recently quit because I am so uncomfortable serving food to my customers. I am an Italian girl native to New Jersey where the only place that beats our pizza is NYC itself. Matties food is no more "authentic" than Dominos. Everything from the jalapeno poppers to the ravioli comes from a bag out of the freezer that Mattie bought at King Soopers and then resells it to you at top dollar. He is so cheap that he dropped a calzone on the floor, and served it to a table so he didnt have to "waste" ingredients by making it over. I watched as the family laughed and happily ate their calzone, not even knowing what had happened in the back. His "vodka sauce" is simply marinara sauce mixed with alfredo and it is absolutely disgusting. I have never once seen any of the other chefs wash their hands--they eat, squash flies, and pick their noses (no lie) and then rub their dirty hands all over your food. I would NEVER eat Mattie Sopranos pizza, they rarely clean their equipment and there are colonies of ants living behind the pizza station. I have been working in the restaurant industry for over 6 years now and I have never seen anything that was this bad, and I absolutely refuse to be a part of it.

Flavors reminiscent of Italy!. The flavors are some of the freshest you could possibly find in a pizzeria! When I walked into the restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful ambience of the pizzeria, conveniently located near DIA. I was instantly greeted by a nice young lady. I ordered the Green Valley Ranch side salad and Veggie Lovers calzone. I ordered a small for both dishes and was stunned at the large serving size! Customers get their money worth at this pizzeria! The ingredients were absolutely fresh! My salad had pepperoni, onions, fresh tomatos, and a wonderful homemade balsamic based vigearette. The calzone was perfectly based with a crust similar to that which you would find in Naples, Italy... trust me, I have sampled the calzones in Naples! Mattie Soprano's calzone was perfectly baked and the crust melts in your mouth! The mushrooms were very fresh, the bell peppers were perfectly sliced, and there was just the right amount of onions. The cheeses in my calzone were a perfect blend of mozzerella and ricotta... an excellent choice as both cheeses melt wonderfully and combine beautifully to make this a superb calzone! If you are in the Denver area, or just on a long layover at DIA., I highly recommend stopping into Mattie Soprano's! This food critic certainly enjoyed her visit there!

LOVE IT. Mattie Sopranos is amazing. My husband and I absolutely LOVE their pizzas. It is the best homemade pizza in Denver and with the freshest ingredients, and this says a lot as there are a ton of pizza joints in the city, but we haven't ordered from another pizza place in probably over a year. Our family comes to visit us from Montana and they always request that we have a night of Mattie Sopranos. They have the greatest customer service, both in house and delivery. The only thing that comes close to an amazing night of mattie sopranos pizza and a movie at home is their pizza and a glass of red wine in the restaurant itself. It is most definitely worth trying...if you order a large be ready to eat pizza for the next month for left-overs. Thank You Mattie Sopranos for providing not only the highest quality pizza ingredients but also the best customer service.

soggy calzone. the calzones are soggy. we ordered a large and it was the size of my upper torso. and did i say soggy? but! their pizza is amazing. along with the wings. tonight, we will try the dessert.

Biggest Calzones i've ever seen and eaten!. So I ordered a small calzone at matties and their small was like a xxl anywhere else! THere pizzas are like that too! My Husband ordered a cheese steak sandwhich which was to die for! The meat was thinly sliced and melted in your mouth. All i can say is mmmmmmm mmmmm good!

Freshest Ingredients in Denver / Worth the wait for tasty menu items!. We enoyed Italian beer and wine while waiting for a variety of perfectly prepared italian dishes to arrive at our table, served by a knowledgable chef and wait staff. We have also been to Matties to sample or take home some of the best New York style Pizza we have had the priveledge to sample in the Denver area. Three cheers for Matties place.
