Absolutely horrible! The entire place was FILTHY! I nearly lost my appetite when I had to use the restroom to wash my hands before eating due to how dirty it was in there and how terrible it smelled. When we got to our table, it was covered in grease like they hadn't even bothered to wipe it. There was food and trash all over the floor and half of the people in there looked like they hadn't showered in a month. It was also freezing in there and I could've sworn they had the air conditioning on (it was 20 degrees outside!). I think they try to make the place as cold as possible so that you don't stay very long and eat all of their crappy food. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!
its 50% to 50%.
I find it can be awfull and sometimes very good. But it seems that breakfast is always a disappointment with powder white gravy and strange tasting chicken fried steak. It always seems to taste old and overly processed from mixes no real flavor and of course no green chilli. The omeletts are not really omeletts to me just a over cooked scrambled egg with your filling in it. I grew up eating Scandinavian style eggs I have high standards yes, but these do not even resemble a omelette.
The dinner menu salad bar is very good with so many choice and dressings. I like the taco bar and baked potato bar. The soups can be scary at times tasting old and under spiced. The desserts can be good with a fairly good cup of coffee. But, the entrees are definately not up to par to me. The mashpotatos can be runny which shows a definate instant aspect to them. The roasts either beef or pork can be pretty good but the steaks are very full of grissle and the chicken can be greasy with little flavor. The price is pretty good but would pay more just to increase quality and more of a scratch aspect to the cooking.
Awesome, awesome, awesome..
I love coming here. It gets pretty packed and there are lines all the way outside some nights. You gotta get there early or at least the least likely night it's gonna be packed.
It's incredibly easy to find, located near a gas station and walmart.
The staff is friendly, attentive. The selections are awesome and the salad bar is great too! They have open kitchens where the cooks cook and prepare in the open where the patrons can see them. I love this because you can see that they are professional and not just heating up giant tv dinners like I suspect Country Buffet of doing. They are family friendly. They offer FREE meals on Veteran's Day for our vets and troops that I give them props for.
