Won't be returning. I have visited this restaurant 3 times with my girlfriend, and it's gotten worse each time.

Our last experience just wasn't good at all - my girlfriend ordered one of their nicer drinks, which was not made at all how the menu displayed. Our waiter then "threw away our ticket" and had to re order our food after we had already waited about 30 minutes. When it came out, my plate was not what I had ordered.

He offered to give us a free salad, which came out and tasted like it had cleaning chemicals in it still.

The table next to us complained about the same thing - they said their food tasted like lysol.

The plate my girlfriend ordered was overloaded with salt.

Overall it was a poor experience, it's gone down hill progressively each visit and we won't be returning again.

Poor service - poor food - poor drinks - goodbye Elephant Bar!

Great Atmosphere-Salmon and Mahi Mahi awesome. We have been here 3 times and 2 out of 3 times this is a must try place. Food is fresh, served well. Food photos: on orange border plate is Coconut crusted Mahi Mahi with special fresh salsa was awesome, hot and fresh. White plate, Salmon teriyaki sauce was fresh and wonderful. Give this restaurant a try, it's worth the look and see.

Fun Experance!. I enjoyed the Elephant Bar Restaurant, I went with my 4-year-old son and my mom and her friend. My son enjoyed all the animals, almost like being at the zoo, I think the purpose of calling it "Elephant Bar" is because the bar has elephants all around it. (sorry no photo this time)

I ordered "fish &chips" to split with my son. I enjoyed the sweet potato fries more than the fish. I also tired my mom's friend's food, orange/ginger chicken and pasta was good. The garlic bread was very garlicky, so if your a fan of garlic (and I so very much am) it was good.

Sure thing either of us ordered shrimp many reviews said "no shrimp", they even offered that as the service was just fine, kind to give us refills on our drinks.

Look forward to another visit, maybe at different time of day seeing how we went for lunch (and there wasn't a wait on a FRIDAY!) wow!

Thanks!

Bad Service, Bad Food and Bad Drinks. Food was simple and not very appetizing. I had ordered a mixed drink which the servers forgot to include alcohol in my drink. My friend got sick the day following after eating there. The wait staff did not check in that often. Was willing to give a second chance, however I walked out when I saw four hostesses standing on the wall not helping a single customer. The one hostess placed the clip board in front of the customers and said write down your name if you want a table. Wow lazy and rude. Do not go to this place.

very tasty along with fast service!. my husband and i went there on sunday for lunch. everything was great... the service and the food. our waitress was quick to give us refills and our order came out in a timely manner considering it was pretty busy at that time. i had the Jamaica Mojo Grilled Shrimp Salad which i really enjoyed. the salad was very fresh and i found it to be a lite meal which is what i was hoping for. my husband had the Chicken Vegetable Stir-Fry with Tofu. he too stated that it tasted fresh and that the portion was quite large. to sum things up we had a great first time experience and will defiantly be back again.

Awful, be prepared for a sour stomich. Awful food, service, seating, drinks, atmosphere... shall I go on?

It looked like an interesting place, so why not, big mistake, little did we know that our visit would only lead to multiple trips to "pray to the porcelin god". Drinks were watery at best, seating was tight, a few fingers were pinched and multiple chairs bumped with the table's next to us. At one point a nearby table was rude, loud, and proceeded to put bare feet on the dinner table, after several other customers complained, the wait staff finally decided to do something, they moved them to a larger table. The waitstaff was rude, slow and unattentive, we waited 20+ mins. to be seated, then almost another 20+ mins. for just water. The food was warm, but not hot off the grill by any means when finally brought, the order was wrong, the actual food was a big let down, the teriyaki sauce was like eating burned crystalized peppered honey, the fish was too fishy and rubbery, I wouldnt feed the salad to a starving rabbit. Dessert, the Giant Cookie Ice Cream sandwich tasted like it was from a bag, and had sat out for the last month, it was so hard, my friend thought she had chiped a tooth, luckily, it was only a chocolate chip! Finally, within a couple of hours half of us were sick to our stomich's, after a few hours of "praying to the throne" we felt better, but still ugghhh. We have never been back.

I wouldn't even feed it to my dog. So we went to Elephant Bar and the hosting station was well trained, that is just about where our fantastic journey ends...because from there it becomes a crap-tastic voyage.

We started off with the drinks....they were ok...my mojito had a bit too much lime (coming from someone who eats limes whole) but it was passable. My brother's drink had no alcohol in it at all. Then, it was on to appetizers. We ordered the lettuce wraps. A dish that every pan-asian grill *should* be able to do. A 1/2 pound of ground beef, four lettuce cups and 1 ounce of sauce. You do the math, that makes for some horribly over meaty lettuce cups. I mean, come on, it's lettuce, 50 cents a head, you can be a little more generous!

So then we move on to entrees, I ordered the sweet and sour chicken. first off, it was over covered in styrofoam rice noodles (looked like 2 fistfuls of noodles), you couldn't even see the entree underneath. Then, I got this gluey, dry mold of rice that was shaped like a bowl. Whoever was running the rice cooker didn't understand the water/rice ratio, or left the cooker on warm for too long, I suspect it was both.

Our waitress was average...obviously brought her problems with her to work. I had to ask twice for soy sauce so I could eat this barely edible mess. Then to top it all off, it was one of the people in our party's birthday. No birthday song (even though the table next to us got one). All we got was one scoop of ice cream. After dropping at least $90...that was like insult to injury.

So if you like places that serve swill and entrails, give elephant bar a try. Personally, I think you'd have a better experience at the now defunct in Denver -Rainforest Cafe.

Bad Bad Food. I will forgive the safari and leopard print decor as it is called "The Elephant Bar," but I will not go back to a place that serves food this terrible. I ordered what I thought was sesame-type chicken and was served cool little dry flavorless, unflavored chicken lumps. This place is clearly reheating frozen, pre-packaged items to serve as food and hoping its destination marketing will carry it through. Very lower common denominator. I didn't order a drink, but I should have.

Rachel. We had a party of 10 with a reservation for 7pm. We were made to wait until 7:30 and then they put us at two tables pushed together - a round table and a rectangle one. An eatery of this caliber should certainly have a large table for big parties! Service was average, and we left our waitress a 15% tip. She was visibly offended, even coming back to the table to ask if everything had been ok with the service. Meals are ample and reasonably priced, but drinks are pricey.
