In Short – From the humble storefront and sign to the rickety tables and chairs, this Thai is low on ambiance, but the dining rooms are clean and the owner greets customers with courtesy and enthusiasm. The menu features authentic dishes filled with complex spices and textures. All the standards are available, from creamy coconut curries to classic Pad Thai noodles. For dessert, there's house-made coconut ice cream.
Really tried and failed

I don't understand the hype of this place. The curries are spicy/hot but that's about the only good thing about it. Where is the flavor?! It must have jumped off my plate.
I have been to several of the "top" Thai restaurants in the US and find US Thai Cafe to fall flat. Thai food is about balancing of flavors and it was lacking here.
Pineapple fried rice? Greasy in a bad way and had little bits here and there of pineapple (which is not good in fried rice, one of those dishes that sounds better on paper), papaya salad was bland (had better at New Saigon), crab won tons are just wrapper no filling (try China Cafe down the street)... I could go on but I'll stop.
I base my reviews on several tries at each establishment and after eating here 3 times and bringing home lots of leftovers (I hardly have leftovers if a place is good) to my poor mutt, we have to conclude it's just not that good. On to another place.
- Pros: Nice staff
- Cons: Not the best as declared
Best Thair in Denver hands down
by ThePFam at Citysearch
Best full flavored authentic thai food in Denver. period.
No one in town packs this much flavor into their Thai dishes. We could go on and on... simply put... the best.
As huge pad thai lovers we cannot resist this place! Definitely not your americanized bland thai. If you get the Thai hot, ITS HOT!
Love it!
- Pros: best Thai in Denver area
- Cons: None
Not that great Thai Cafe
by foodlover80249 at Citysearch
We had the pad thai, curry, and they were not good. Furthermore, the papaya salad is one of the worst I have ever had in my life. And, the sticky rice was wrapped in saran wrap rather than in a bamboo holder as other Thai restaurants. Interesting how this always comes up on top with 5280 Magazine as the best Thai. Obviously, regular patrons have not had really good Thai food or just have low expectations. Over all, not impressed.
- Pros: friendly service
- Cons: Food isn't that great
