Warning: This bar has changed ownership!. While keeping all of the Brix furniture and atmosphere, unfortunately, the bar has apparently changed ownership. The food and drinks menus are both completely different, less interesting, and far more expensive than Brix's selections ever were. The service is abysmal...I sat at the bar for well over 20 minutes on a recent Friday without being served, even though they had hardly any business to speak of. The pour on my wine was scant and I had to flag down one of the FIVE people milling behind the bar doing nothing in order to get my appetizer. When I asked for a refill on my wine, I was told that they were out. Clearly, the new ownership is completely disorganized and I don't forsee that this space will content anything but the least discerning Cherry Creek customer. I won't be back and am very sorry to see Brix disappear.

Horrible service and bad attitudes abound. I just moved to Denver a few weeks ago and don't really know anyone. After an exhausting workday, a co-worker suggested we get happy hour and we chose Brix because it's close to our office. From the moment we entered we were greeted with complete indifference. My friend asked the waitor for recommendations because it was our first time, and I sware he actually rolled his eyes. The wine we ordered was great, but not being interested in being shrugged off any further from the server we left after just one glass. I would not recommend this place based on the HORRIBLE service and bad attitudes of the staff alone!

Bad Food and Bad Waitstaff. I had a rather unpleasant time at this restaurant. The food was overpriced and not that great. The menu was lacking many of the great tapas one would expect and the staff was lousy. They were slow and rude. I would not recommend dining at this sorry excuse of a restaurant.

Editorial Review. With a selection of diverse wines and a non-traditional cuisine style, this is the alternative to the normal family restaurant.
