Great Trout. I have had trout before and it has always been the whole fish. This time it was two perfectly cooked filets with no head and not bones. The wine was a good combination and the little bit of kick in the banana puding was great. My favorate part was the licuma ice cream that sat atop of our puding, what an interesting bunch of flavors this place has.

Best place to start with a Happy Hour and wind up staying for dinner. We stopped by for a cocktail (try the pineapple mojito) and discovered the amazing appetizer selection. The ceviche sampler was outstanding, and the duck entre my husband ordered was out of this world. A fantastic little restaurant...we will be back.

Great experience. First time tonight. I took a group of friends from work and we decided to let the sever pick what each of us would have. He did not dissapoint, and he paired different wine for each of us as well. We will be back!

Not Even A One Star. If there was a No Star option on the rating scale I would have chosen it. We arrived tonight, a Thursday at 5pm as the doors opened. We were the only people there, 2 adults and 1 child. When our server came to greet us at our table we noticed he slurred a little. I assumed at first he had a speech impediment. The speech impediment turned out to be too much alcohol in his system. The fumes that came out of his mouth as he slurred a welcome to us was overwhelming. We decided to overlook it and hope that he would be pulled aside and that someone (another server) would step in. No such luck.

The server asked to take our order. He couldn't find a pen so after fumbling for a pen for a while he picked up a knife from our table..yes, a knife, and proceeded to "write" in his order pad. A few mins later he came back to take our order again- w/out a pen. We gave our order again. Beef Filet and Trout. 5 mins later he came back to ask again about our order. He asked my husband about his choice "the tuna". We reminded him it was the Trout. He said they were out of that even though they just opened for the day and it was on the menu. We ordered Risotto instead. An hour after being seated our food came out-Risotto and Ahi Tuna-I ordered Filet not Tuna. The man couldn't get out a complete sentence so it's no wonder the order wasnt right. I said I would just take the tuna since now my husband had to leave for a meeting in 5 mins. They thankfully took the tuna off the bill. After waiting for the server to find a pen for 5 minutes to take our order, 30mins for our starters to arrive (keep in mind we were the only people in the restaurant and 1 hour before our incorrect order came out, our bill came out while we were still eating our dessert and surprise! a pen was found to ensure I could sign my credit card receipt. Amazing what even a drunk man can do when it's time to be paid. We will never go back to this place, what a joke. Manager needs a new title, he's not managing at all.

Running on Fumes. This place was great (supposedly) last year or the year before, but left us seriously lacking when we finally made it there for dinner tonight. The drinks were questionable, and the food tasted like soaked saltines. Literally. I know you probably think that is some sort of bloated exageration spawned from a mildly inadequate fare, but it literally tasted like nothing. We told the server this, and nothing was done but an offering of an equally bland dessert. We weren't looking for a free meal, just one that tasted like something. In this Limon failed, and if you're intersted in food, the seven eleven across the street might be a better alternative.

Good unique food, and wine that pairs well. Went to Limon on a Thursday evening, so not very crowded. Food was very good; some of the best ceviche in Denver (esp the traditional [sea bass]). Although not hot-spicey, there were a lot of good flavors and spices in the entrees. The wines (the couple we tried -one white, one red) went very well with the food, and the server was able to talk to the wines. Ambience was also nice. Definitely intend to return to try other dishes.

Inconsiderate & Inattentive to Clientele. Unfortunately I have never felt compelled to write a review until now. A group of us (7), friends and family agreed to try Limon, made a reservation and when we arrived we were told it would be a few minutes. About 20 minutes later we were told it was going to be a bit longer and we were offered to wait at the bar for cocktails. We did and realized another 35 minutes quickly passed without anyone updating us on the status of our wait. When we asked how much longer it would be we were told that they were getting a table ready at that moment. From the moment we arrived until we received our food (extremely famished) we had been waiting for over 1 1/2 hrs. Service was slow, a couple orders were incorrect and even forgotten and there was no apology. We had asked to speak to the manager and in return we were greeted with incredible rudeness and in such an unprofessional manner. We enjoyed the food but not delectable enough to return to a long wait and a place where the owner does not appreciate his customers.

Fantastic experience - Great wine, great food, reasonable prices. My wife and I went on our anniversary, and were thoroughly impressed. Their wine list is a lot of great South American and Spanish wines (go on Monday for half-price on the wine). We had a great Malbec. The food was awesome. I highly recommend the Cebiche dishes. I don't like prawns, and loved the prawn cebiche. The lamb stew was excellent (almost a Middle Eastern flavor to it). The duck that my wife ordered was cooked perfectly, seasoned immaculately, and presented deliciously. Excellent food, excellent service, we're definitely going back!

Always delicious and fabulous service!. Limon is my new favorite restaurant not just in Denver, but anywhere! The service is wonderful and the food is always incredible. I just recently tried a Pisco Sour...delish! I always order the Tiradito Cebiche...it's wonderfully seasoned with great, fresh fish. I highly recommend Limon!

Great knowledgeable server and great food!. I dined at Limon for the first time last Friday with my wife. We ablsolutely loved everything that our server informed us about. We had a group of ceviches which were all individually unique and the presentation was excelent as well. For our main courses we had the Ahi tuna and the pork chop. I had never had a brined piece of pork before this occation so at first I was hessitant. Our sever assured me that it would be fabulous and he did not disapoint. This is deffinately a date style restaurant. Formal feeling but yet casual once you dig in. A nice low lit place with an excellent selection of Jazz. We will be back!
