In Short – The quintessential steakhouse, this restaurant features red leather booths, crisp, white linens topping the tables and male-bonding groups touting high-rolling expense accounts. The kitchen dishes out USDA Prime-grade hunks of beef in all their juice-dribbling glory, coupled with a slew of starters, salads and sides like jumbo shrimp cocktail, fried oysters, grilled lobster salad and creamed spinach. Prime 121, I can't wait to get back!

I love this restaurant! The food is incredible and the ambiance is great. I've dined here 3 times and each time I felt relaxed and welcome. The service was attentive but not overly so. Did I spend too much money? I was prepared to splurge and I only wish I could go back more often. I found the staff warm and pleasant, my steak was perfect and I'm crazy about creamed spinach...
Give this place a try if you want to be spoiled.

Worth a Second Look

I dined at Prime 121 this week under the recommendation of a friend and I must say I had a wonderful time. As I arrived, it was about what one would expect when visiting an upscale steakhouse in Cherry Creek. Valet Parking for those who would rather not deal with the headache that is parking in Cherry Creek. White table clothes, fresh flowers on the tables, servers wearing pressed white coats. However, our experience was much more than ordinary. First off the music playing was upbeat, contemporary top 40 rather than the typical monotonous formal dinner music found at most of these types of establishments. The service was perfect and the staff seemed to know exactly what we needed before we did (Mojito's here are excellent and the wine list is A+). And the food, top notch!!! Steaks cooked to perfection. We had appetizers, salads and entrees, and despite being a party of 7 on what seemed to be a relatively busy evening, the dinner flowed perfectly. I've seen some negative comments about this restaurant, but I have to say Prime 121 was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Perhaps worth a second look.
- Pros: Upbeat atmosphere, friendly staff, wonderful food. Save room for dessert.
- Cons: Wine list is a bit large, but a lot of good values if you know your wine.

Go to Elways instead....

I went here for 5280 week and was so disappointed. We had 6 people in the group and 3 of the steaks came out cooked completely wrong! This is a steak place! You should know how to cook them. The sides were very average and the service was awful. I love dining out a nice steak places and will never be back to this one. They just filed bancrupcy and it's no wonder. A nice steak place in Cherry Creek should be great, not okay. Go across the street to Elways! Amazing!!!

There are metered spots and paid parking at a nearby covered garage, but the valet parking is free, so use it.

Don't miss the Sunday brunch--it's one of the few upscale brunching options in the neighborhood.
