Go ahead. Go to this Ted's and try to
order a burger medium (which should be pink inside). They will bring you a dark grey hockey puck every time!! I'm not kidding a bit. The good thing about this is that I have received 5 free meals there by writing to Ted's corporate offices about the problem. The office just comps me meals over and over because they burn the burgers over and over. It is amazing!! So go ahead, I challenge you. Go to this Ted's and try to order a burger medium......see what happens.

Families and large groups feast on hearty cuts and comfort food at this Rocky-Mountain style steakhouse..
In Short
Lots of mahogany, tin ceilings, metal crown molding and Arts and Crafts-style décor prevail at this casual, comfortable saloon, part of media mogul Ted Turner's domain. Beef and bison are king, and they're hand-cut on site. Other bites include beer-can chicken, bison prime rib and cedar planked salmon. For dessert, there's home-made cookies, Kahlua fudge brownies, Coke floats and strawberry shortcake.

good beef filet.
When my husband and I want a good steak, this is one of our usual haunts. We enjoy the beef filets, but we usually don't get the bison because it is too expensive. The steak is always cooked just right, and the sides are very good. I especially like the creamed spinach. The Bel Mar location is roomy, but if it is crowded, you can eat at the bar quite comfortably. The staff is attentive and friendly. I think this is a better restaurant than the Larimer Square location.
