BAD.
I purchased a six month membership for Palms Tanning Resort Resort in Aurora. I signed up for unlimited tanning. The contract did not state that I need to schedule an appointment to receive service (and it still does not) to be able to use my plan that I paid for. I was informed that walk ins were welcome. In the three month that I was coming in I was able to tan only 15 times (that's not even enough to get a tan and keep one), I was there everyday Monday- Friday and was refused service because I did not have an appointment and few times that I refused to be turned away (I'm paying for it after all!) I had to wait for over an hour for a ten minute tan. I was very frustrated and not at all satisfied with the service I was receiving. I spoke to a manager about this few times and nothing was done. I cancelled my membership due to the fact that Palms Tanning resort was not able to provide promised services. I paid for unlimited tanning and received less then 1/4 of the tans. As a customer and a person that have work in the customer service departments in the past I am very disappointed with the way I was treated. I think it's ridiculous to have to schedule a appointment for a ten minute tan and even then there is still a wait for about 5 minutes. I refuse to pay for services that I'm not receiving and getting bad customer service!!
Now a year later after my cancellation I am receiving collection notice and threats from debt collector asking for $ 87.00 for breaking the contract! I tried to use services for three month and that's what I paid for. At this point I feel I should get refund for every time that I did not tan not a collection for months that I did not tan and even if I tried I would be turned away.
