Great Customer Service!!!!
by RRichardson at Citysearch
I went in yesterday to get a platter with ribs and 1/2 a chicken but he was out of the chicken. He said that he'd put some on fresh today. When I went in he had completely forgotten, but assured me when I came back on Tuesday he'd give me a whole smoked chicken on him. He's one of the nicest guys I've met, gave me his card, apologized profusely and definitely knows how to keep me coming back! After reading these reviews I'm dying to sink my teeth into this BBQ!
- Pros: Great Customer Service
- Cons: none yet.
One of two true Southern BBQ joints in all Denver area!
by doug80211 at Citysearch
Coming from NC, I can say their pulled pork is just like back home, and the hospitality is also like home! The other wanna-be smoke houses in the area should take notes! This is not your stereotypical Texas style BBQ, this is the real Southern deal!
Now if I can only get them to accept the Eastern Carolina sauce and Texas Pete's then it will be just like home!
- Pros: Just like home in the South! Not fancy but who cares, the food is GREAT! Just like the BEST Q joints in the South.
- Cons: To me, just missing the Eastern NC sauce and Texas Pete's, but other than that, I can't think of any!
Best Ribs In Colorado!
by BigPapaDog at Citysearch
I have eaten BBQ at dozens of Colorado smoke houses. No one even comes close to the tender flavor of Tennessee's ribs. Eventhough the sauce is great, I can't bare to mask the flavor of the ribs. These are not the cheapest racks around but the are surely the best. Worth every penny! Tennessee puts the franchises to shame and can hold his own againts any of the veteran smokers.
Tennessee has catered the last two parties we have had and everyone commented on how perfect the meats were. If you like links he's got the hot ones.
- Pros: Fantastic meats-pork, beef, ribs, chicken and HOT links!
- Cons: More expensive than others in town...but BBQ is better.
